The three hour bike ride could not have been any better! The guide stopped along the way to point out historical and interesting side notes to the city you would not be able to get otherwise. Definitely recommend it. Lots of fun!
Very nice! Very nice! Very nice! The tour guide was great. Loved the places he took us to visit. WOW. For sure if you go to Nice do this tour!!!
Al was our guide and very knowledgable on history and anecdotes about Nice. We were a party of 3, which included a teenager. At times the history input was a little heavy going for some, but with a diverse group you can't please everyone !. However Al was very informative, and very helpful and relaxed in how he delivered the tour. This included being flexible in the tour because we had already visited some sites, he took us to others that we had not previously seen. It was great getting around some of the tiny backstreets that we would certainly not have found on our own. This tour is well recommended and i would suggest doing early on during your trip to Nice in order to get your bearings. The bikes are easy to use and you do not have to be a fit cyclist to enjoy or keep up.
My husband and I just got back from two weeks in Europe, and we did a bike tour in each major city. This was the best one by far (even better than Munich)! The guide actually made an effort to learn our names and spoke so well about the history and sights of the town - you could tell he really loved living there! The ride was very easy with the exception of one climb up castle hill (we dismounted and walked part of the way), but he gave everyone plenty of time. At the end, he handed out a recommendation sheet of restaurants, activities, and nightlife/cafes in the area, which became our go-to for the rest of our trip. So wonderful!
Great way to explore Nice! This city has so much more than the beaches and shopping, and you can see it all through this tour. But be aware that the "little hill" described in the tour description is more than just an easy little uphill bike ride!
This tour was fantastic, fully living up to our expectations. The city is beautiful and seeing it by bike, expertly guided by Thelma, is a must! The pace is relaxed and Thelma is very patient with those wanting to take photos. It was the highlight of our 2 weeks in beautiful South of France.
Thelma even accommodated us arriving for our tour 24 hours late (my mistake), but I wouldn't want to encourage others to try that; you may not be as lucky as us in that there were 2 spare places on the day we turned up!

Phenomenal trip, and SO worth the money!!! Our guide was personable, knowledgeable, and just a wonderful person to be around. We saw all the "good stuff" to see in Nice, and were regaled with interesting anecdotes and historical tid-bits all the while. The bikes were extremely comfortable and user-friendly, too. We left with a list of things to see and do in Nice that was approved by people who actually live in the city, and a fantastic feeling about the 3 hours spent on the tour and the wonderful people we got to meet. Time and money well-spent!!!
We had a great bike tour with Thelma. She was personable and well versed in the history of Nice. Biking was a great way to see the city with the limited amount of time we had. It was A Lot of fun!!
My wife booked this tour on Viator now knowing what to expect and we a had a great time. Make sure you book early in your Nice stay.
wonderful way to get acquainted with the city. thelma was a knowledgable and entertaining guide.
By far the best thing I did in Nice.
I did it on my second day there and I was just really hoping to get an overview of the city for orientation purposes. It was far better than I had hoped. Our guide, Thelma was friendly and funny and told us great stories and facts about Nice. We could ride at our own pace - the only challenging part was the climb up the hill towards the end of the tour. It was worth it though, and Thelma even brought cold drinks - what a great touch.
I was sad when the tour concluded - I was having so much fun. Bikes are really the best way to see the city and I highly recommend doing this tour if it's your first time to Nice.
Had a very good time. The guide took care of us well, and was very knowledgeable, warm and personable.
She gave us a list of local food specialties and recommended restaurants. She had a snack and drink for us as well as water.
