The Provence countryside tour was much better than I expected - the medieval towns, the spectacular views and the selection of stops along the way made for a delightful and memorable day!

I assume the bad weather was a factor in not being able to see or stop at more places.

I enjoyed all of the different locations we visited. My only problem was with the driver. We were the second group to be picked up, and usually you get the next pick of seats. I was really annoyed when he booted us to the back and said that we might be able to move to closer later. I knew that wouldn't work- out of courtesy to the other travelers. We took a tour the day before, and were the last group to be picked up. We were in the back which was expected. I was really excited to be the second group for this trip, as seats are based on when you are picked up. As the tour went on, he constantly referred to our section as the lower class and economy. I didn't appreciate that in any way.
On top of that, we also didn't visit one of the locations and one of the view points listed on the tour, nor did the driver ask if we were okay with that. He also was gossiping about celebrities' personal business. I thought that was particularly uncalled for. I was horrified to think about how many times he may have repeated these stories!
It was just a tourist trap of being let out at one souvenir shopping site after another. The driver had an extremely heavy French accent so was very difficult to understand. There was very little "countryside" in this tour.
