Very nice tour, and excellent English-speaking guide. We didn't get to all the beaches in the daylight--it gets dark early in the winter--but worth it overall.

We loved the tour of the D-day beaches in Normandy. A couple of issues. We definitely would have liked to have had more free time to explore the sites. The tour operator talked a lot about the events of June 6th at each site - so much that we only had 5-10 minutes to walk around and take pictures. Maybe a little less talking, less detail, and more free time. We could have used more time at the American cemetery.

The afternoon tour is great if you're catching the train up from Paris. We fit so much in it felt like we were getting a full day's value.

We were surprised that the tour guide had only one and a half weeks experience. Nice person but the communication in English was hard to understand.
