We had a great time. Excellent guide. If anything we should have booked a full day tour.
Guide was on time. Proved to be courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Very useful to travel with someone who knows where to stop for washrooms! Great to not have to worry about where to park and what places were the best to visit within a short timeline. Not enough time for the ardent ameteur historian, but an excellent slummary of key US sites (beach, cemetary and overlooking German positions) for the first time visitor or those who want a nice overview. I highly recomend this tour to those who only have half a day available.
Excellent tour! Our guide, Jonathan, promptly picked us up at our B and B and he was knowledgeable and entertaining. The visit to the American Cemetary was moving.
My guide, Matt, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area. He not only talked to us about the tour info but on the drip he explained many other interesting facts as well. The tour itself was amazing and the guide spoke near perfect english!
David was a fantastic guide! His enthusiasm, knowledge, personal perspective and use of pictures brought life to the description of events. Absolutely recommend it.
My husband and I loved this half-day tour. We only had a day to spend in Bayeux and we felt lucky to get such a great half-day tour of the beaches. Most of that was due to the fantastic tour guide we had. He was excellent - spoke good English and did a great job of showing us the area. We were very pleased with the price as well. I highly recommend it.

Beyond my expectations. Matthieu was a wonderful guide, teaching so much history in such an engaging style. While it is possible to go at it on your own, renting a car and reading a guide book along the way, this experience was so much richer. Don't hesitate to book a tour. You won't regret it!!!

The American cemetery is not the only thing to see in Normandy. Point du Hoc was simply amazing and I would recommend this trip to anyone. David was a great guide! He was very friendly and really knew his WWII history. He even made sure we made it to our train on time. Thanks David!
I must rate this tour 5 stars. Our guide was a local resident who treated the ground with all the respect and reverance possible. Lora (spelling?) was knowledgable in many areas of history and was able to make the intellectual link to cause and effect. Standing on Omaha Beach is an overwhelming experience and this tour guide understood that.
Very cool, knowledgeable guide. If you only have a short time for the area this is a great tour.

This was a highlight of our trip. Our guide was wonderful and informative. I wasn't expecting to be so emotionally moved as I was. I highly recommend this trip.
The tour was well worth the money. It saved us time trying to find each location. Our guide Gwen, was exceptional and he spoke perfect English. He was punctual and full of knowledge, providing wonderful background explanations to each site. I highly recommend the tour and Gwen.
The tour was amazing. Our guide Jonathon was great - he was young but very knowledgable about the area as well as the history of Normandy. If you have the chance to ask for a driver Jonathon was super. It is a very moving tour, every American should take it.
