We had an excellent tour guide, picked us up at the train station with a sign. It was easy and enjoyable!

Three perspectives were brought out by our guide in the 'Normandy Beaches Tour - American World War II Beaches'. The Allies, the Nazi's and the local residents of Normandy. If you want to get a well rounded history lesson of the D-Day invasion and life in Normandy at that time this is an excellent educational experience which I fully recommend. Our guide was a third generation resident of Caen and had a tremendous amount of military and local knowledge surrounding the Normandy Battlefields and life under Nazi occupation as well as the impact of liberation.

My wife and I had a moving experience. We were overwhelmed with the area and our guide was wonderful. We will remember this trip forever.

Took the minivan tour and it was great. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a cold and rainy day, but it really made the tour better. The weather was similar to the weather as it was on D-Day and made it much more relevant. I would definitely recommend this tour over a large bus tour anytime and will probably do the full day tour in the future.

Our guide was terrific. She was informative, low-key, and flexible. The timing was right, our visit to each site was neither too long nor too rushed. The tour was well- organized. We were picked up at the appointed time and returned back to our hotel.

We had a wonderful experience with our tour. We had a party of 6 and had the tour operator all to ourselves. She did a wonderful presentation and answered all our questions and was fun to be with. We will tell our friends.

Our tour guide was excellent. He had a fantastic personality. Provided a running commentary in English and French (for the Italian couple). The commentary was full of interesting tidbits about D-Day, rather than textbook information. His grandfather had participated and joined the French army after D-Day. The group was intimate, only seven people in a small van. My 14-year-old and even my wife loved the tour. We would do again.

Very good trip. The only thing I would suggest is a way for the people in the rear seat of the van to hear the driver better. It was hard for the guide to keep his voice loud enough for the whole trip while providing information and driving. Some of the information was not heard by those of us in the back. The guide was very good - provided a lot of information and was helpful. Because of the need to keep to the time schedule it felt as if there was not enough time to spend at each site.

We were able to visit the main points of interest in good time and with good explanations of the sites. Quality learning time was lost during coach travels due to absence of guide microphone and loud speakers over seats. Coach did not have AC so travel was uncomfortable in the hot climate during the trip. Tour guide was thorough in his explanations, but as he was a French National, we had to listen close to understand his good English. Tour guide was courteous to us all.

We loved being in Normandy, and the half day tour with the emphasis on the American experience was just right for our family. Our guide was full of information, but it was hard for us to understand her accent. Also, I may have spent less time at the German cemetery and more at the American.
