Window seats on the plane are guaranteed on the 80-minute flight to the Grand Canyon's West Rim. After your flight, you'll board a jet-powered helicopter to descend 4,000 feet (1,200 meters) below the rim to the canyon floor for a relaxing 20-minute cruise on the mighty Colorado River.
After your boat ride you will board the helicopter once more to ascend back to the top of the rim. Here you'll have time to visit the West Welcome Center at your leisure, using the hop-on, hop-off shuttle bus which operates in the area. During the short trips between each stop, a Hualapai Indian driver/guide will tell you about the local land owners and the history of the park.
Visit Guano Point for fantastic views of the Colorado River, and enjoy a casual barbecue lunch. Explore the Indian Village at Eagle Point to gain further insights into Native American culture. Or take an optional stroll on the spectacular Grand Canyon Skywalk (not included, approximately US$30), the newest attraction on the West Rim. Please note, the order of your itinerary is subject to change on the day however you will have approximately 3 hours on the ground at Grand Canyon West.

- How should I dress?
All passengers should wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes (no high heels.) Women are advised to wear slacks or shorts. The temperature at the Canyon can be as much as 20 degrees cooler than Las Vegas. It is best to take a jacket or sweater that can be left on the plane if it is not needed. During the summer months, the temperature is very similar to what we have here in Las Vegas. - Are tours handicap accessible?
This tour is not handicap accessible since the ground at the Canyon is uneven and not paved in many areas. Also, wheelchairs cannot be stored on the aircraft and there are no wheelchair rentals at the Canyon. - Why do children pay full fare?
Anyone who occupies an individual seat must pay the full fare. Only infants and children who weigh less than 20 pounds (stone 1.3 or 9 kilograms) may be held on the mother's lap at no charge.
