The cruise was great!

For our first family trip to NYC, we decided to take the 3 hour cruise which let us see ALL of Manhattan. We were going to go to the Statue of Liberty but reviews on the internet said the best way to view her was not from the island, but from the water. They were right!! We saw her up close and personal along with all 5 boroughs and sailed under 20 bridges! The northern end is so different to the hustle and bustle of the southern tip, I never would have imagined how beautiful the Hudson and Palisades would have been. I travelled with my husband and 2 young daughters 4 and 5 and it was brilliant, we were blessed with beautiful weather but what made it worthwhile was the guide. He was knowledgeable and very witty. Easy to find at the end of 42nd street, we breezed the queue with our discounted online tickets and got an excellent outside seat aboard the boat. I would recommend a trip up the Empire State Building the evening of this tour, you recognise so much from what you saw on the tour! A bargain priced tour with priceless views.

This is a lovely way to spend three hours. The commentary was very informative and interesting for myself and my wife. However, my two teenage daughters began yawning halfway through, I guess that's teenagers for you. One thing I found fascinating was how the tragedy of September eleventh was dealt with.

This boat ride is a must for anyone who wants to see the city in its entirety. It provided us with lots of good pictures of the city and was very relaxing after spending the previous day walking all over. It is worth every penny. One tip: sit on the upper deck in the back left side for the best pictures of the city.

Really great and informative; it was our first activity and really supplied us with the history of New York. My partner's favourite experience of our whole trip to New York!

This tour is a MUST for anyone going to NYC, even if you think you know a lot about the city! We were continually entertained by our amazing tour guide, and we learned so much about the city we already love. TAKE THIS TOUR and you will not regret it. The tour operator is wonderful!

This was a great way to see some of the things you might not get to. Best way to see the Statue of Liberty!!!

It was a warm day when we did the cruise but it was still very chilly out on deck so wrap up warm! Also on the outer deck you cannot hear the commentary which is a shame. I would recommend sitting inside so it is warmer and you can hear the commentary. The views of the island are fantastic. A particular bonus is seeing the rarely seen north of the island Washington Heights which is a very green, tree-filled and there are no sky scrapers, quite a surprise for Manhattan. We loved the cruise and think it is well worth doing.
