Fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed this informative and entertain tour. Everything was as described on the Viator website and following the email instructions found Graeme our drive/ guide waiting for us. We travelled in a mini-bus with about 10 other cruise passengers and the small size of the party ensured we weren't waiting for lots of people to get back to the coach. Graeme gave us lots of information en route about the country, culture, economy, and wildlife. We had a wonderful day with just the right amount of time to spend in each place. Would happily recommend this tour to cruise visitors as it 'packed' so much in to port day without feeling rushed.
By far one of the best tours. Saw so much between Tauranga and Rotorua such a beautiful spot. Mauri experience was fantastic. This was one of my favourite tours
Great tour - saw lots in a relaxed manner - Jan from Zealandier was excellent
Great tour. Interesting and entertaining - enjoyed the Mauri history also the singing and dancing .
A trip to the North Island would be incomplete without a visit to Rotorua, including a visit to a Thermal Village with steaming geysers and Maori dance show complete with Hakka. The villager guide was very informed and enthusiastic which made the trip despite not having time to await the irregular, but no doubt spectacular, eruptions.
I would recommend this price competitive and enjoyable trip.
Very informative about indigenous tribe. Kiwi plantation was great.
We really enjoyed the guide Sue, very knowledgeable and interesting. Learned many interesting things about kiwi fruit, would have liked to have more time at Kiwi 360, but still liked the drive to Rotorua and the Maori village, we wanted to see the countryside as much as anything. Our only problem was waiting for the bus to fill up, without that we would have been able to spend more time at the stops.
Enjoyed the day --great tour guide. We had a lot of rain that day, but all in all a good time.
Very informative tour of the Maori village as well as a lovely lunch stop by Lake Rotorua. A little bit of walking involved but definite insight into how the Maoris live and their culture.
this was my third visit to rotorua,1961,1976,and20014.i think the village has gone backwards.the occupants were very nice but it seems the candle is going out.a lot less geysers, mud pools etc.
