So much better than flying there. As you travel through the land and feel some of the energy of the land that the indigenous people past and present would have experienced into Uluru and its incredible unique sacred world
The coach was comfortable, scenery (unusually green thanks for the rain) was awesome, commentaries from the coach driver was at times funny, the geology/ orogeny of Alice and Uluru was interesting, and some features such as the tree hand pointing to the rock (Foolooroo) and the tyre tree added to the fun.
Good (long!!) trip which was made more pleasant as it was a very comfortable coatch . Very good driver/guide.
This trip was good too, with a friendly driver. Both coaches (there and back) were extremely comfortable. It was a part of our trip that I was not looking forward to, but it turned out to be very enjoyable.
This trip was very professionally organised, informative and relaxed.
Cool drive in a brand new bus driven by a lady who talked to us all the journey long about the environment and what we were expected to see at the end. Special joke when you see the first rock at the horizon... Two stops all along to stretch legs and buy a coffee: we experienced a short and cheap camel ride in one of them, and a young kangaroo picture in the other one...
Excellent trip. Our driver was very knowledgeable and entertaining and the journey was great!
Excellent driver who talked much of the way and was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. We were a bit unsure before taking this trip in case the coach were too uncomfortable or the journey too long and dull after the first hour - in fact neither proved to be the case. The journey was comfortable and constantly interesting, and the stops well placed. The break at the camel farm was good and not too commercialsed. If you have time, it's better than flying.
