Our trip was very well organised and I learnt a lot about volcanos. It was a poor visiability day with thick vog everywhere but we still saw lots of interesting views and received so much information about your National Park.

Great day - lots to see!! A very long day though - be prepared for a 15 hour+ day. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. You will see a gaseous eruption at Kilauea, but don't expect to see lava flow - that's about 8 miles from the nearest road and there is definitely not enough time to fit a hike in to see it. It was a full sized tour bus, if you wanted a more tailored experience or with a smaller group, I would suggest that this isn't the tour for you, but if you are happy to be part of a larger group then you'll be happy on this one.

The tour itself was good and our driver Nikki was excellent. The problem was with Go Airlines. We arrived about 30 minutes late in Hilo. Because some of the tour participants arrived earlier on Hawaiian Airlines, the tour left without us. We then had to wait another 30 minutes at the Hilo airport for a small bus to pick us up and take us to join the tour. Participants were scheduled to depart at different times, so we were all delivered to the airport to accommodate the earliest departures. Go Airlines was again late, so our group waited 3.5 hours at the airport for our 40 minute flight. This tour would work better if all participants used the same flights.

A great day with a very informative driver. The flight from Oahu on Go Hawaii was fine as was the pickup and return transportation. A long day, but well worth it.

Was an interesting tour. Got to see all the lava rock left from previous erruptions and also a bit of activity happening there at the moment... but don't be fooled that because there is activity happening that you will see lava flowing..... my guide told me the only way you will see anything like that is by helicopter!

The logistics were great, it went as smoothly. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and could answer most questions. The Hawaii Volcanoes National Park was fascinating, especially the Halemaumau crater in the Kilauea caldera.The only disappointment was the black sands beach, it was quite small.

Excellent, Great way to meet people from different parts of the world. On brochure it shows molten lava, there is none, just steam. But still a great trip.
