We went on the 6 am hiking tour up to the top of Diamond Head Crater. Our host was fantastic! Very knowledgeable of the area. Unfortunately we were not able to really see the sunrise because the clouds were covering it. But overall, worth while to see the beauty of the crater.

There are a lot of steps, but it is worth doing, especially at sunrise. The guide knows exactly where to stop and rest and where you will get the best views and photos. If you're going to climb Diamond Head - do it early before it gets too hot.

Early start was well worth it. Our guide was great, really knowledgeable. Tough walk for those not fit but give it a go the view is worth it.

Our tour guide was great. The railing on the way up is covered in rust, so I would highly recommend taking a pair of gloves. We did the early morning pickup, and the views were awesome.
