1.5-Hour Jungle Expedition:
Board a catamaran for a scenic cruise along Oahu's famous Kane'ohe Bay. Explore fields of tropical flowers, fruit trees and gardens on this nature tour. Then, venture to Moli’i Fishpond, an 800-year-old, 125-acre (51-hectare) Hawaiian fishpond.
It was the best tour we had during our visit. Would do it again.
We had a great day at the Ranch - so much to see and do! Will have to go back on another trip to do what we could not fit in. Beautiful scenery and very friendly/informative Guides. Particularly enjoyed the Valley Tour which shows you the locations used for many movies shot at the Ranch.
Awesome!! Horseback riding, Valley tour, and Mountain tour. Very fun time.
Even though it was raining our tour guide was wonderful. I wish we had more time for the Dole plantation as didn't really get to see much, as time was limited. Would definitely recommend this tour!
very good. well planned and operated
Absolutely stunning. Had so much fun! A must do!
Excellent tour and guides.
Great tour and beautiful scenery! Well worth it, and the buffett lunch was yummy also.
My husband and I recently visited the ranch for our first time. We chose to do the valley movie tour, the horseback ride, and the jungle expedition. I must say, it was all fun and fantastic!
The guide for our valley tour was very entertaining. He made our group laugh a bunch too. On that tour we saw props and learned out famous movies that were shot in Kualoa. We rode around on a bus, stopping a few times to visit the old military remains and to get pictures of the beautiful mountains.
When it came time for the horseback ride, I was a bit nervous to be on a horse for my first time. Luckily, two of our instructors stayed with us on the entire trail. I had times when I did not feel so confident with my horse, but the lady instructors were always checking and saying how great of a job I was doing. I felt they were very professional, calm, and friendly. What a great ride!
As for our last tour, we had a guide named Kaleo. He was very charming and knowledgable about the history of Hawai'i and the ranch. His driving was amazing. I've been on a jungle tour similar to this before. While that had made me nauseoushis, his careful driving did not. We went up to some higher areas of the ranch and saw some lovely views of the valley, ocean, and islands nearby.
As for lunch, you can purchase fresh food from the various cattle, fish, and vegetables they raise and grow on the ranch. The cafeteria has many yummy options. We were on a buffet plan and had our meal in separate building. While the buffet wasn't large, it was plenty delicious.
If you want to spend part of your day having fun among the lush green mountains, take this tour. A visit to Kualoa Ranch has activities that are certainly more fun than boring sit as you see tours.
Staffs are super nice and the views are excellent.
