What You Can Expect
With the methods of stopping and steering place, you’ll follow your guide out into the streets of urban Honolulu, where you’ll visit many of Oahu’s best sights and major historical attractions. The tour begins on Kahanamoku Beach on the sands of Waikiki, where you’ll glide past luxurious yachts that are berthed at the Ala Wai Harbor docks. Continue cruising above the Ala Wai Canal towards Ala Moana Beach Park, passing viewpoints of Magic Island while en route to the city’s downtown.
Upon first entering Honolulu you’ll cruise down historic Bishop Street, and feel the energy of the Chinatown markets before continuing the tour down Hotel Street. This is the location of Washington Place, which is home to the Governor of Hawaii, as well as Hawaii’s State Capitol building and other historical sights.
Nearby, at Iolani Palace, the only royal palace that exists on American soil, you get to hear some controversial history about Queen Liliuokalani before continuing on towards the famous Kawaiahao Church.
Finally, after photographing the statue of King Kamehameha and riding past Iolani Barracks, your Honolulu Segway tour concludes by following the coast back toward Waikiki.
Please note: A minimum of two people per booking is required.
We had a wonderful time. There was only my husband and I with guide. He was patient teaching me how to use the Segway. During the tour he was very aware of our safety, which I certainly appreciated, and his knowledge was amazing! We had the best time!
Loved it. Segways are the best! Tour guide was wonderful, very knowledgeable. I would definitely do this tour again going of course to a different part of the island.
Mike was our guide for this tour and he did a fabulous adventure for us. We saw some beautiful buildings and learned quite a bit about the history of Honolulu. What a fun way to see the city and experience everything first hand.I do recommend this tour to anyone in Honolulu, it was a fun way to see the city.
Wow!! We were very impressed with this tour!! Normally on a bus tour, I find myself falling asleep lulled to sleep by the tour guides' voice. The segway was a great way to see the sights, learn about the history and culture of the island and Honolulu, and stay alert. The segway itself was very easy to ride and a lot of fun as well. The guides were excellent instructors making sure everyone was secure riding before we left on the tour. They were VERY knowledgeable about the city and aware of picture taking opportunities. Definitely would recommend this tour!!
We loved this tour. There were only two other people on this so we had plenty of time and space. The guide was very informative and helpful. We would definitely do another tour with this agency.
I would recommend this activity. Our guide Killi and Mike did an "outstanding job", the informations they gave us around town make it fun and interesting.
I was the only one who booked this tour on this day, sounds like a cancellation. What! No way? They provided me an excellent tour guide (Kiliona) and a full tour plus some. Kiliona is well versed in Hawaiian culture and was able to give a ton of interesting historical and cultural information. Being on Segeways we covered a ton of ground. I would recommend a tour from Segeway of Hawaii to anyone interested in the best tours you can get in Waikiki.
Magnificent tour the guide was terrific, really knew the history of Honolulu and took us everywhere. Could not recommend it more, worth every cent
