The entire experience was exciting, from the start to the end, it was a blast. Our tour guide was very friendly, well informed, and extremely patient due to the fact that we had some guests that decided that they did not want to obey the rules that were given to all the visitors. Aside from this little problem, all else went smooth, my wife and I were very happy with the staff at the ranch and everyone made us feel real welcomed. Thanks to the entire staff at the ranch!
Great trip, 2-hour tour was right length. Great scenery, favorite tour on the island. An "extreme" ATV tour would be fun for more experienced riders as the governors kept speeds below 20 mph.

it was great. If you are into nature and love the see all types of mountains you will love this tour. the only thing i wish i would have done is take more pictures and get the 2 hours tour instead of the 1 hour and also get the morning tour since they pick you up from hotel
***** please keep in mind this ranch is about 1-2 hour away from Waikiki beach, it will cost you about $70 each way on a taxi (45 min each way) or $10 on city bus (1-2 hour long)****

Kualoa Ranch is an amazing, beautiful location and I definitely recommend visiting it if you're on the island. The Ranch is Oahu at its most pure - huge mountains, lush green tropical vegetation, the occasional rainstorm...absolutely glorious!
Not only are the ATVs fun to drive around, but for an entertainment buff like me, the leftovers from movie sets are pretty cool to experience. Our particular guide was not as descriptive as I would have hoped, but friends who have done this tour have indicated that this was not normal, so the amount of information you get is probably dependent on how knowledgeable/talkative your guide is.
Definitely consider doing this tour if you want to mix a little adventure with some nature - and a dash of Hollywood magic!
