Take photos of the panoramic views at Makapu'u Lookout before exploring the Kaupo lava flow, aged 25,000 years, as well as tide pool bright with marine life. As you go, your expert nature guide will provide commentary about the rare plant and wildlife around you that is native to the islands.
Stroll along the sandy beach of Waimanalo Bay, the longest on the island, before heading to the Enchanted Lake Bird Sanctuary, a birdwatcher’s paradise.
You’ll make a final stop at the ancient Hawaiian temple of Ulupou Heiau and the Pali Lookout, where Kaneohe Bay’s sparkling waters stretch out before you, as well as the Koolau volcano. Your guide will drop you back off at your hotel when your tour is done.
Our guide was fantastic!!!! Very knowledgeable!!!
Guide was great, very knowledgeable and interesting. Beautiful geography, hiking was really not part of this which is fine if you have limitations or are not up for physical adventure.Lots of great photo ops. Easy day trip, small group worked great and I would do it again.
Great tour! We saw many beautiful sights that included the added bonus of seeing humpback whales and wading with Hawaiian green sea turtles!
the man from iowa,2 bags and 2 boxes! love that dude, made a step on faith, god is good. give him a new Van to drive,ok!
Great way to see lots of sights with some fantastic photograph opportunities.
Great views, knowledgeable guide, interesting neighborhoods. We saw parts of Oahu we had not seen before,e.g., where people live - wealthy and not so wealthy. The sandy beach was over-rated - maybe because it was very windy - the weather did not invite much walking.
Tirp was well organised and imformative. It was a small group of six so was easy to ask questions.
We loved this tour. It showed us lovely parts of the island away from the glitz of the coast. The guide was fantastic - so knowledgeable and such a nice personality
