Biking down though the forests in Oahu were great.... Then over to the sailboat for a trip to the reef to see some sea turtles and several schools of fish. Family had a good time.
This bike, sail, and snorkel excursion was fantastic! I highly recommend anyone traveling to Oahu to do this. Matt was our tour guide, and he was very knowledgeable and fun. He also gave us great tips on other things to do in Waikiki. The bike ride down the hill was very pleasurable, and the place he stopped us for lunch overlooked the city. It was beautiful! During the snorkel part, we saw several sea turtles. WE LOVED IT!
Great way to see the island and get away from the city. Heaps of fun. Very well organised. Great tour guides.
Terii was so charismatic, very knowledgeable about the local facts, such as the state bird (the construction crane), plant life and local famous celebrities! The snorkeling was great, and Terii was very aware of where each member of his group was at all times. Matise was also an excellent guide!
Awesome tour. Started with a bike ride down Mt. Tantalus, which included a lot of scenery and some time for picture taking. The bike ride was down hill and did not require a lot of physical exertion. The two guides were great at explaining some of the history of Hawai'i and provided us and other travelers with some tips for enhancing our stay in Hawai'i. After the bike ride, we were dropped off onto the catamaran and guided by two different tour guides, making a trip off Waikiki beach to a spot where the turtles commonly go. We saw 5 turtles moving about the coral reefs during snorkeling, not to mention additional wildlife that commonly is associated with the reefs. Overall, all tour guides were great, all the services exceptional, and met or exceeded expectations. Last note, the lunch is a fairly simple sandwich provided by a local store with some chips and Aloha juice. It tasted pretty good.
Highly recommended day! The guides were very friendly and informative, going out of their way to make sure we had an incredible time. The views on the bike ride were stunning! It was such a relaxing day. Saw dolphins on our sail and snorkelled with turtles and lots of fish :)
Great afternoon of fun. The guides were amazing and truly a great way to experience the city in just a couple of hours.
This was definitely our favorite tour! Our guide was very entertaining and told us some awesome stories! The views are beautiful and and the whole experience was so enjoyable!
This was one of our favourite activities. Jeremy our guide was brilliant! He was very knowledgable about the island and very easy going. The bike ride was fantastic. Downhill all the way, with amazing views of Honolulu. The sail was also great. We got to snorkel with green sea turtles which was a highlight. Crash our boat captain was great fun!
Loved it. We thoroughly enjoyed the leisurely downhill cycle with remarkable scenery thrown in for free. And this tour is the easiest and best way to get out on the water. Oahu Combo Adventure is all good for all ages - honestly the bike ride is ALL downhill. Just a brilliant day, not rushed at all. Thanks to our really friendly guides, and especially to Captain Krash who moored us right on top of the turtles - you the man :)
Our family had an amazing time on this trip. We started with a drive up Tantalus and our driver was a wealth of knowledge about the history of Oahu, from ancient to recent. The bikes were cruisers and super comfortable. The guides paid close attention to the comfort and safety of our 9 year old and our 6.5 year old. Our younger one decided to ride the tandem hitch they brought along for her since the whole ride is downhill and fairly curvy. The picnic lunch sandwiches were pretty gourmet, and we stopped at a very picturesque spot. All of the guides offered to take photos of families so all could be in the picture. At the bottom of the hill we relaxed under a giant tree while they loaded the bikes on the van.
We then drove to the dock and boarded a catamaran. We had a 20-30 minute trip out to turtle cove and the captain let anyone who wanted to drive the boat come up to do so. The three kids on the boat spent the whole time up with Captain Crash. The snorkels and masks are very basic - we wished we had brought our own gear with us, but that was the only downfall. "Vacation vests" aka life jackets were provided if anyone wanted them. We spent about an hour snorkeling and saw countless green sea turtles and fish. When back on the boat they provided us with snacks and drinks, and we sailed back to the dock. Our journey totaled almost 6 hours yet we made memories that will last a lifetime. It was worth every penny and we would definitely do it again!
This was fantastic. The views riding down the mountain were amazing as were some of the houses up there! The sail and snorkel were great. We saw lots of turtles whilst snorkeling. A nice and easy afternoon of relaxing and enjoying some of what Oahu has to offer.
Easy bike ride.... Lunch was absolutely Devine.... Tour guides on bike ride and sailing were funny and informative. I loved it on the boat when we slowed down to collect rubbish out of the ocean! Seeing turtles was an awesome way to finish our tour :)
I booked this tour for my 18 year old granddaughter and her friend who is the same age. They loved to tour. It was everything they hoped for!
Would recommend it , very well organised and a great bunch of guys
This was incredibly cool. When I purchased I saw people whining about not having to pedal. Ummm that's awesome! It's absolutely gorgeous where you're riding. The van was about 30 minutes late picking us up, but John the phone contact is awesome. And Dave and Blair (who looks and sounds just like Bruce Campbell) are all great at what they do. Snorkeling with the sea turtles was great! All in all, the worst part about this one was the "so-so" ham sandwich I had for lunch, otherwise, book away.
This outing was far better than my expectation. The tour guide (Jeremy) was fantastic and very knowledgeable as he took us to our Bike destination. The Bike ride was fun and beautiful! The Sail and Snorkel was wonderful. We got to swim with the fishes and turtles and then saw a school of dolphins! It was excellent and I would highly recommend them to everyone!
This was awesome! We did the bike and snorkel and the bike ride was so easy and beautiful. For the snorkel there was only 6 people (which was so nice) and we got to swim with turtles. Definitely recommend!
The bike tour guys were great, really friendly and made the experience a good one however once you get to the sail boat, which is operated by another company, the level of service is not as good. Unsure whether it was the other groups on board where some people were very rude or the boat crew but that portion of the tour was average in comparison. Would still recommend it to others looking for a leisurely way to spend an afternoon.
Bike ride through the rain forest is not to be missed! Incredible views and very easy (and safe) ride. Sailing portion was on a pretty worn/old catamaran with cramped seating, but crew was very nice and fun. Snorkeling was on a reef just off Waikiki, and there were some who saw turtles, though we did not. Overall, good value for the price.
Bike ride was fantastic and the guides were great. We were unable to do the snorkelling, as it was cancelled due to rough weather, but that comes with outdoor activities. Refunded for snorkel section so all good there.
The tour is a great broad experience. I appreciated the time snorkeling. The bike down the mountain is a very spectacular opportunity. However, the guide spent a great deal of time talking about negative experiences with former vacationers. This was irrelevant information to me and would have appreciated his insight on the area we were visiting as opposed to the gossip he shared about people I will never meet.
The bike ride was amazing, but would of loved to of gone slower to enjoy the sights/sounds of beautiful hawaii. The lunch was very good, Jeremy the tour guide was super nice!
The snorkel was fun, we did see a turtle and a few fish, not a lot of fish though.
The Sail was disappointing - the motor on the boat was running and they put th sail up. to me a sail is strictly running the boat by sail, no motor..ran, it is not a true 'sail'.
