My wife and I spent a week in Hawaii and this was the highlight. Highly recommended.
My daughter and I had great fun doing this tour. We saw lots of sharks and the tour people were very professional and knowledgeable. It was also entertaining watching the reactions of some of the foreign tourists - there was a lot of screaming. Hilarious.
The coolest thing I've ever done. Had a blast!! At no time was I scared or nervous. The staff on board was great and knowledgeable.
This was my highlight. It was such a rush! I recommend that to anyone who goes
This was amazing! Listen to the advice and take motion sickness medicine at least two hours before and then again right before. I did and did not get sick..others on the boat did not and were not so lucky.
The staff was beyond amazing friendly, knowledgeable and funny! There were SO many sharks, it was incredible. If I ever go back I will definitely do this again, with this same company!
The crew was excellent! Getting to see the Sharks up close is an amazing experience.
Incredible experience!! Overcome a huge fear of mine by doing this and I have no regrets! Only downfall was that the water was extremely choppy which obviously was out of the hands of the crew!! And although I have been out on the ocean multiple times without EVER getting sick, myself and 3 others got very seasick. I highly recommend taking medicine for seasickness just in case!! We were able to see many sharks!! Crew was great!!! Highly recommend!!
An awesome experience. The sharks are so graceful and serene. We just wish our 20 minutes in the cage didn't go so fast!! Would love to do this again one day. One area requiring significant improvement is the rest room facilities at the harbour.
This is a thrilling tour. My teenage daughter and I did this together. We saw lots of sharks swimming around our cage - they came very close - but did not bother us. We were able to have a good view of them. The current was very strong so it was hard to maintain a position in the cage. I would not recommend this tour for small children - arms and legs can easily fit between the bars. Once you are out into the ocean in the cage away from the boat - there is no way to get back onto the boat until your time is up and the crew pull you back to the boat. We were out for about 20 to 30 minutes - so if you do not want to spend that amount of time in the ocean - I would not recommend this for you. Also, if you are motion sensitive - I would strongly encourage you to take Gravol prior to the outing being sea sick will put a real damper on your experience. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guides were quite helpful and entertaining.
Very organized tour and friendly staff. An amazing activity you have to do in the North Shore!
We had a great time on this dive. We even saw a group of dolphins on the way to the sharks. It wasn't scary at all - I never felt unsafe for a moment. The sharks were plentiful and were awesome to watch. We highly recommend this!
Amazing tour. Saw loads of sharks, really friendly crew. Thoroughly recommend. If you are prone to sea sickness, definetly take dramamine, as it was quite choppy when we were out there.
The absolute best experience of my life and I have done a ton of stuff. Great staff, great sharks, wonderful to be with these beasts in their home environment instead of an aquarium. I recommend it to all that visit Oahu.
We spent 9 days in Oahu, made a day trip to the big island and did something different every day - this tour was the highlight! The experience was amazing and the crew was excellent. We saw too many sharks to count, some 12-14 ft and the visibility underwater was amazing, I am told it was 150ft. I wanted to do something adventurous while in Hawaii and this had good reviews and I decided to give it a shot. My wife told me to have fun since neither she of the kids would be jumping in a tank with sharks outside. Guess what - both she and my two 9 year old's ended up in the tank and had a blast. You don't need to be great in the water either, you get a snorkel kit, fins aren't needed, and climb down off the boat in to the cage - it is moored out at sea and you meet it with the boat, maybe a 20 minute ride form the dock. One more note about the crew - awesome. I had a nice talk with the captain and he gave me some great tips about the area. Finally, there is a nice little historic town next to the harbor from which the boat leaves, Haleiwa, be sure to give yourselves some time to check it out as well! The shave ice stand there is supposed to be awesome, there were about 50 people lined up when we were there.
This tour was amazing!! Lots of sharks to see. We had a great time. Feeding the sharks as we hurled over the side of the boat was even fun. I highly recommend motion sickness pills. Mahalo.
A must do! Bring your own gopro though! It will save you a ton of money!
fantastic trip .. once in a life time activity.
you get real close tyand personal with these great animals
definitely a five star and recommend this to everyone ...
don't worry if you can't swim... my husband couldn't swim but he loved it
The shark dive was amazing! We arrived for the early departure, and were greeted by the boat staff. They were super friendly and were able to answer all of our questions about the sharks as well as the rest of Hawaii’s native marine life. After a short boat ride out to the shark location, we were given a short safety briefing and it was time to jump in! I was a little worried it might be cold, but the water was quite warm. Once we got into the water, we were surrounded by about 15 sharks. I was not expecting them to be so big! They ranged between 8 and 15 feet in length. The sharks come close enough to get some great pictures/video. If you don’t have an underwater camera, I highly recommend getting one before this tour. The photo ops are awesome. For small fee, the crew will also film you from outside the cage, so you can get that perspective. This was definitely a highlight to our time on Oahu. If you have a few hours free – Definitely go swim with the sharks!
Had an amazing time. The crew was very informative and thoughtful. The views are breath taking. We took the 9am trip out on a Friday and felt the time slot was perfect because it wasn't too hot yet.
The sharks were beautiful. Really appreciative nature time.
