Absolutely awesome! It was the highlight of our trip! Pilot spotted two hammerhead sharks and circled overhead for great pics, and the flight over Pearl Harbor was amazing! Completely satisfied! Would highly recommend the open-door tour!
The best way to see the island of Oahu! Our pilot Jim was a great guide with a lot of knowledge and humour which made the whole experience even better. Definitely worth doing for the amazing views and photo opportunities!
The absolute highlight of our trip to Hawaii. We had fantastic views and great information from our pilot. We mixed up our booking but for a small fee were able to change our booking. We were extremely greatful for your generosity. This tour was all that it promised and more. Doors off? A must for unobstructed views of a beautiful island. We felt safe at all times and the staff went out of our way to help including making sure we got a great photo in front of the helicopter at the end of the flight. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who goes to Hawaii.
The tour was great! There was no use of a backpack or walking stick like it said in the description (which was fine) and our group was actually 23 people instead of 14, but we had a great time and our guide David was awesome. Super informative and fun!
Booking was so easy on line and confirmation was issued with all the details we needed including convenient pickup point to take us to the airfield. We were picked up promptly and on the way to the airfield in a minibus a safety video was shown and then we were given a safety briefing when we arrived. The flight itself was fantastic and our Pilot Jim gave great commentary all the time. The views were fantastic and Jim pointed out exactly where places of interest were. It was exhilarating and we were able to take photos easily in the open door helicopter so no window frames in the way. Do it....but even if it is over 30 degrees on land which it was when we were there, take a jacket or sweater because it is cold up in the air! Well recommended! When we landed we were given a klovely brochure with pictures of the island of Oahu from the air. Loved It!
Because there were no doors photos came out amazing! I would definitely recommend it.
a really great experience with the doors off, can be a little scary when the pilot leans the helicopter over so you can get a better look at something, but you don't fall out
Oustanding, an exhilirating ride covering so many beautiful and historic Hawaiian sites. A definite must!
Amazing experience, best way to see all the island has to offer with the wind in your hair
Loved this trip and a great thrill we no doors on the chopper as well. Longer than other helicopter rides we've one so a lot of ground was covered
It was absolutely breath taking with the doors off! I highly recommend this adventure to any thrill seekers or photographers. I will definitely be taking this tour again.
Breathtakinglying brilliant even on a windy day. Great views, didn't fall out. Amazing and a real memory for life.
Worth every penny. Got a great view of the entire island and it was amazing!
Fantastic, a must do for O'ahu! You get to see the whole island and it is amazing
I was terrified but it was awesome! This was my very first helicopter tour and it was a lot of fun!! I have recommended this tour to someone who is coming to Oahu in 2 weeks. I hope they have as much fun as we did!
Loved it - very exciting! We are so glad we chose a helicopter without doors.
We had an amazing pilot and the flight was beautiful. I highly recommend
Breathtaking, exhilarating, adrenaline pumping and just plain fun! If there is one thing you have to do in Hawai'i it is the Magnum Doors-Off Hilo adventure.
As long as you are not afraid to sit next to an open door in a helicopter, this is THE ride you must take. Wind swirling around you, hair going all directions and at times a little chilly. Still the only way to see the island from above. No reflections from dirty windows for fantastic photo shoots, Just direct views and did I mention you can get wet when it rains, but who cares. Hanging in your seat while the pilot makes a sharp turn and there is nothing between you, your camera and the ground. Just awesome.
