What You Can Expect

Small-Group Oahu Highlights Tour from Waikiki

Visit the Polynesian Cultural Center

After pickup from your Waikiki hotel, your expert guide will take you to historic Pearl Harbor, a must-see while on Oahu. Visit the new Pearl Harbor Visitor’s Center, where you can observe war relics, authentic uniforms and interactive museum exhibits that chronicle World War II and the infamous attack on Pearl Harbor.

Then, hop on the shuttle and head to the USS Arizona Memorial to remember the tragedy that struck the battleship, which now rests on the harbor floor. A solemn and emotional place, the USS Arizona Memorial is one of America’s most moving monuments, and your guide’s compelling storytelling and informative narration will make this experience unforgettable.

Continue your tour to the North Shore, known for its epic beaches. Visit the Dole Pineapple Plantation for an in-depth look at one of Hawaii’s most important exports, and spend some time at Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay, where world-class surfers flock during the winter’s big wave season.

Stop by La'ie Point for some incredible views, and visit Tropical Farms Coffee Plantation for a chance to enjoy some tasty island treats including coffee and macadamia nuts.

Celebrate diverse Polynesian culture as you travel to Oahu’s East Shore. Enter a world of Pacific traditions at the Polynesian Cultural Center, featuring interactive exhibits themed around the islands of ancient Polynesia. You'll meet real-life Polynesians as you explore recreated island villages, each revealing unique cultural traditions, authentic demonstrations, stories, songs, dances and much more.

Sit down to a lovely lunch buffet of Hawaiian and Polynesian fare with your fellow travelers. Then, it's off to Byodo-In Temple, a replica of a 900-year-old Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan. You may recognize this impressive structure – it has been used in TV shows such as Lost and Hawaii Five-0!

Your last stop is Nu'uanu Pali Lookout, where you’ll catch some lovely coastal views before ending your tour in Waikiki around 2:30pm.

This was a very good tour, we had a highly knowledgeable tour guide, he kept us on schedule and we were able to see some extra sites. Would definitely recommend this tour!

This was the reason I came to Hawaii. To see the War Memorial. My husband passed through here on his way back from Vietnam. This day was the most memorable of our entire trip. Kona was the best tour guide with his historical knowledge beyond most we have spent time. The Polynesian Cultural Center gave you a good feeling for the various island people.

We had the best time on this tour. Our guide gave us so much history I did not know. He was funny too. The stops were really interesting. I think the only one I wasn't thrilled with was the Dole Plantation, which was basically a giant gift shop. Everything else held my interest the whole time. As a photographer I got some awesome photo's. I wish we had had more time at the Polynesian Village. The two shows he took us to were great and I would have liked to see more of the cultures. It was fascinating. The food was delicious. If you have to pick a tour, this is the one for sure. It covers so much in the space of 12 hours. I learned a lot about the Hawaiian culture and have so much respect for them. I would go on this tour again if I took another relative to Hawaii.

A MUST do tour, our tour guide Hana was great getting us to venues before the crowds, he gave us the heads up as a group do be back at the bus on time so we would beat the crowds and even get an extra stop in. Hana's knowledge was great and he even had bad jokes that made everyone feel good.
