Bring home more than just memories on your trip to Oahu! This small-group, 4-hour fishing adventure will take you around Haleiwa Harbor to fish for everything from tuna to mahimahi.
Board a 27-foot (8-meter) sport fishing boat and head out onto the waters of Haleiwa Harbor toward a famous shark-spotting site. Here, fish for mahimahi, barracuda, tuna, opelu and more. Your guide will show you how to catch fish using two of Hawaii's traditional methods: trolling and bottom fishing.
Your next location, a little farther away from Haleiwa Harbor, is where you will fish for kumu (goat fish), papio (travally), uku (jobfish) and a variety of reef fish. All the fish you catch you can keep!
Trolling: Trolling is the process of fishing with one or more baited lines that are slowly dragged through the water by the boat.
Bottom-Fishing: This is a method used to catch bottom-feeding fish by attaching a weight to the end of the line.
