Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the USS Missouri, Arizona Memorial, Pearl Harbor and Punchbowl Day Tour. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
Great tour enjoyed by our group of 3. Our guide was lovely and funny and very informative. Pearl Harbour is wonderful to see and well organised. Would recommend this tour and hope to do others with this company next time we visit Hawaii.
Excellent tour - plenty of time to explore the venues separate to formal tour components. Cousin Dwight provided great information during the travel time and the Honolulu drive through worked well for visiting particular landmarks later. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.
My wife and I along with a friend decided to book the tour of Pearl Harbor, The USS Arizona Memorial and the USS Missouri, with a side stop at the "Punchbowl". The Tour bus picked us up at the hotel "On time" and proceeded to our destination. I have to say that without a doubt the driver/tourguide on our trip was one of the nicest and most knowledgeable people we met on out two weeks in Hawaii. His Name Pete "Pekelo" Ti and I cannot say enough about his great personality, his willingness to keep us informed, and his absolute "pure" knowledge of both Ohau, its people, and our destination and its impact on our history. He ensured that all participants were well informed and made sure of all the timetables were clear so we did miss any of the attactions.
I strongly recommend using (VIATOR) to book the Polynesian Adventure Tours for not only the convenience but also for their willingness to make sure that the people are well informed by using only the "Best" in guides/drivers.
Our tour guide (named after a Hawaiin flower) was wondeful. He fast had worked at pearl Harbor for many year and she had fantastic stories. She was very well versed in the local flowers and plants, as well. She pointed out mango and avacodo trees, banana, etc. The tour was prompt picking us up and flexible for the day's schedule. It was great that they picked us up in front of the hotel. Since they purchased the tickets we didn't have to wait in line and the bus had special parking all day.
Great day learning the history of the USS Missouri, Arizona Memorial, Pearl Harbour and Punchbowl. Even though we are Australians, it is humbling to listen to what one's forefathers went through to ensure the freedoms of their country. Amazing insight into the war and our guide was friendly and wonderful.
Everything we hoped for and price was well worth it. The entire tour, memorials and especially our guide Kimo were wonderful. All Americans should experience this if for no other reason than to be thankful for the service and sacrifice of our Veterans, their families, and those civilians impacted by the events of WWII. In the words of Eleanor Roosevelt "Dear Lord, Lest I continue my complacent way,
Help me to remember that somewhere, somehow out there a man died for me today.
As long as there be war,
I then must ask and answer am I worth dying for?"
God Bless America and especially our service men and women!
i really enjoyed the tour. it took care of everything - no guesswork whether or not we would get in to pearl harbour that day. the missouri was definitely worth seeing. our tour guide garfield was awesome too.
We could not obtain tickets in advance to go to the Arizona Memorial, but found them available with Viator. What a great tour it was! I usually prefer exploring on my own, but this was great. First, we had a super driver who was very humorous and knowledgable about the local area. Second, we were not kept in a tight group, but were allowed to explore the Arizona and Missouri freely. Just the right combination of together and separate! Thanks for a great time. I will recommend your service to my friends.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our driver Garfield, was informative, friendly and organized.
We got more out of the whole day than we ever expected. Signing up for the tour insured our entry to all of the points of interest. We we informed that the Arizona tickets were all spoken for by 7:30 am. A day well spent honorining our fallen heros and getting a better understanding of the events that led up to our entry into WWII. The tour of the Missouri was well organized as well and Bob our leader was extremely knowledgable and approachable. We also enjoyed the city tour much more than expected. Well worth the $ and time.
This trip was the initial reason for coming to Hawaii. We were picked up at the hotel and had the best day ever. Our guide was warm and friendly and taught us several Hawaiian words. He was very knowledgable on the history of the island. We toured both the Arizona and Missouri memorials and were given lots to time and did not feel rushed but kept to the schedule. Our driver made the day great and one we will not forget
