Garfield was a great guide with lots of good Information, a real student of history. I would recommend this tour as a great way to see Pearl Harbor with less hassle.
Excellent tour guides. Really enjoyed the freedom to look around on our own,
Our driver/guide made great use of our time. We were able to fit in all of this historical tour and still have time on our own to tour the Missouri and the rest of this historical site.
I was not disappointed. I expected to see certain things and I did. Great
The tour was excellent .
Matt, our drive guide was very knowledgeable and professional
Highly recommend this tour
Must see for yourself. Was not born yet but it still leaves you crying, and grateful.
A very moving day for all involved. All staff were well educated and extremely helpful, especially our tour guide of the day Cody. Highly recommend. Would also suggest to do the free guided tour on the USS Missouri!
The driver and tour guide was most experienced and a true gentleman. I recommend this tour to anyone and everyone. Some tourists just need to listen and respect the other people of the tour. Listen to your guide people and maybe you wont hold the rest of us up as we are paying for the tour as well. Maybe the driver just needs to leave them behind.
A great introduction to Honolulu. Wonderful tour of Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona and the USS Missouri. Our guide Ed was wonderful. I'm
Very informative tour. Extremely well organized and the tour guide, Ty, was very courteous and friendly. The pearl harbour experience was very moving and have even greater respect for all the people that fought in World War II. Dont miss this tour if you get to Oahu.
This trip was amazing. Our guide Ty was very knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make sure we seen everything..Touring the Missouri and Arizona was very heartwarming and a very sad day.
Great trip!. Pete did an excellent job!, would definitely do it again.
Would do this one again as there is so much history there and very moving to see the Arizona and the remains and the oil seeping up.
What an amazing day. I knew some information about Pearl Harbour and of course I've seen the movie but learned so much about the Arizona, WWII and the Missouri that I did not know. Our driver 'Cousin' was great (no chance of me remembering his name it was too long) and full of interesting little bits of trivia that were fascinating. We had to pick the day of the marathon to go, which impacted upon pick up etc but no complaints. This is a must do tour!
This tour is very tightly organised to prevent any waiting times. It was well organised and the pick-up point was very close to our hotel. Although of a sombre nature it was an excellent tour
We found this tour to be amazing! There is so much information to take in and there was plenty of time to do it. Would have loved a little bit more time to explore the Missouri a little more extensively, but the tour on board the Missouri was very comprehensive and explained so much about the ship and it's involvement.
The Arizona memorial was .... no words! An experience. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
This tour was awesome! The sights were obviously remarkable but the tour company did a magnificent job and our tour guide was the best I've ever had.
This was our highlight on Oahu. I would highly recommend the tour and the guides were very knowledgable. The Arizona Memorial was emotional and the Missouri was a wonderful piece of history to have seen first hand. My only wish was that we weren't allowed out to take a better picture at the Punchbowl as the window pictures didn't turn out too good.
Tour guide was very helpful and enjoyed his humor along the way. The Memorial was all it was expected in our thoughts and prayers for our brave soldiers on that infamous day.
This is the only way to do this tour. Very entertaining and instructive. Tour starts early and ends early PM, which is perfect. Our guide was professional and a stitch. You have to go if you are interested in history in this part of the world. However, I found the memorial less impressive than I would have thought. Maybe because I am from Washington, DC.
Our tour guide (Kimake'a - Tour 63, bus 602) was a class act - combining Hawaiian history, language, and American and Japanese history in a way that helped me, born shortly after WWII, come to grips with the "Remember Pearl Harbor" attitude that was still strong in my formative years. The Pearl experience itself needs to be undertaken by all Americans whether as part of a tour or on your own. The downtown, Punchbowl, and personal touch on the tour were bonuses well worth the extra price of admission..
