BEST day ever in paradise! The boat operators were knowledgeable about the environment and kept in found the best places to see whales and dolphins. It was fun as well! Several people on the tour were doing it for the second and third time. I would go again as well. I pitied the folks on the catamarans who only had food and drink and were missing out on the open ocean.
This trip was amazing! We had extrodinary luck with whale sightings and that was beyond belief. But what truly made it memorable was the captain and crew. They are knowledgable, professional and fun. They are very respectful of the animals and took time to educate us as well as show us a great time. We had severe weather issues the week we were there and the office staff was very flexible with us and allowed us to book another day. I would strongly suggest this tour and can't wait for my next trip to Oahu so I can go on this trip again!
I've been on many of these cruises over the years. The crew on this trip was exceptional!
Super friendly, very knowledgeable (marine biologists!!!)
I learned a lot from them and we had the most incredible morning!!
Awesome. It was a tiny boat with a very friendly and informative crew. We saw three humpback whales surface and dive. We saw tons of dolphins swim by and also got to swim with sea turtles in crystal clear water. We all agreed we would do it again.
Amazing, awesome, would do it again! Dolphin Excursions is a great company, knowledgeable, helpful, and good with people of all ages.
Definitely recommend, our daughter even got to hold an octopus that was almost as big as she was, awesome experience
Go on this
What an adventure. Our guide, Mandy, made sure that we saw spinner dolphins, both from the boat and from the water, so we did swim with dolphins.
We snorkelled for about an hour and photos were taken by Perrin for us to buy. Some folk saw turtles, but I didn't, though I have since seen the photos.
We got a bit burnt on our backs from the snorkelling, so make sure you smother on the sun screen or wear a vest.
As first time snorkelers, this was a real highlight of our holiday.
This excursion was amazing! We saw 6 bottle nosed dolphins, swam with a pod of about 100 spinner dolphins, a sting ray, 6 sea turtles, held a star fish, and saw plenty of fish! Lex and Ali were awesome! It was worth every penny, and would do it again in a heart beat!
It was a fantastic day. The staff were all very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw whales, swam with a pod of dolphins, saw a sea turtle and many, many fish and even got to hold a baby octopus. The photos that the photographer took were great and we recveived the disc a week after we came home. We will definitely do this again when we next visit.
If I could give them 10 stars I would! Worth every penny spent. Our captain, deck hand and photographer enhanced and made the excursion so much fun. When asked today what was the favorite thing we did in Hawaii my entire family said it was THIS. Only suggestion goes to viator the duration is 3 hrs
It was a good experience, we saw many dolphins and the trip was very nice. The girls were very helpful and showed to us the best place to see the dolphins. But the trip around the coast doesn't took more than 2 hours and half, but I think that it's enough.
Great day with the tour guides and photographer going out of their way to ensure we got to see as much as possible
Dolphins and turtles appeared;shame the dolphins didn't stay around longer
Excellent trip during which we saw plenty of dolphins and whales. Staff very knowledgable and friendly. Only downside was the type of boat used (a large RIB), which is not really suitable for people with back problems. Some sort of warning would have been useful. Nevertheless an excellent adventure!
The outing was great - with whales and dolphins, but the coordination with Viator wasn't. In spite of giving the correct Hilton hotel and confirming the correct Hilton hotel, the tour bus still showed up at the wrong Hilton hotel in Waikiki and we almost missed the whole thing.
