The NASCAR Pepsi 400 is considered to be one of the longest-running races in NASCAR history. A race has been held at Daytona International Speedway in the first week of July every year since 1972, and has been held under the lights each year since 1996. As the only other Nextel Cup Series race held at Daytona (the other being the Daytona 500), the Pepsi 400 is one of the races that every driver wants to win.

Daytona International Speedway is synonymous with the world of auto racing. Although famous for hosting "The Great American Race"- the DAYTONA 500, the enormous 480-acre motor sports complex boasts the most unique racing schedule of events in the world, earning its title "The World Center of Racing."

Motorsport fans can also visit the Daytona 500 Experience (formerly known as DAYTONA USA). The 60,000 ft. interactive motor sports attraction on the grounds of the speedway features hundreds of multi-media attractions including the Pepsi IMAX Theater showing "NASCAR 3D: The IMAX Experience" and the award-winning "DAYTONA 500 Movie" on a four story high screen.

Fans ready to test their racing skills won't find anything closer to tackling the high banks of Daytona International Speedway than the Daytona 50o Experience Acceleration Alley. Guests are pitted against each other to vie for the checkered flag in the Daytona 500. Motorsports enthusiasts can guide the wheel of the 80-percent scale stock cars of Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, Terry Labonte, Bobby Labonte, Dale Jarrett, Ricky Rudd and Johnny Benson.

Maneuver NASCAR simulators at speeds of over 200 mph, combining motion, video projection and sound for the ultimate head-to-head racing experience. Visitors strap in to an incredible experience that includes spectators in the grandstands watching the race, spotters warning drivers of impending danger, skid marks made by veering cars -- everything but the smell of rubber. *Please note, an addtional fee may apply for Acceleration Alley.

Daytona Dream Laps:
Daytona Dream Laps is an iWERKS motion simulator ride based on NASCAR's premier race, the Daytona 500. The ride seats 32 guests for a full-range motion experience of NASCAR Nextel Cup Series racing at Daytona International Speedway.

Toyota Tundra Thunder Road:
Make sure that you don't miss out on all of the ride along excitement on the various simulators allowing fans to see what it's really like behind the wheel! Take a fantasy ride in Toyota Tundra's Thunder Road. This two-seat full motion simulator allows riders to experience the thrill of racing in a Toyota Tundra and includes a 360-degree flip!

Ford 16-Second Pit Stop Challenge:
Test your pit crew potential at the "Ford 16-second Pit Stop Challenge" which puts you over the wall as a pit crew member for the No. 21 Ricky Rudd Motorcraft Ford. Grab an air gun, strap on some gloves, and try to beat the clock in this fast-paced test of skill as you try to try to beat the time of our pit crew in this lightening fast stop for gas and tires!

See for yourself as the DuPont Technology of Speed takes you under the sheet metal for a look at the inner workings of one of Hendrick Motorsports' Nextel Cup championship-winning DuPont Chevrolet Monte Carlos. Watch as the 3,400 pound racing machine expands to reveal the roll cage, chassis, engine - everything that makes these cars the stars of the racing world.

Gatorade Victory Lane:
After your run to the checkered flag in "Daytona 500: The Movie" and "NASCAR 3D: The IMAX Experience," you will exit the Pepsi IMAX Theatre into Gatorade Victory Lane. Be part of the biggest celebration of the NASCAR season and see the current Daytona 500-winning car in the exact condition it was when it crossed the finish line.

Goodyear Heritage of Daytona:
The Goodyear Heritage of Daytona history walk takes guests back through time, allowing you the opportunity to see how Daytona came to be the "World Center of Racing."
