What You Can Expect

Florida Everglades Airboat Tour with Transport

You'll be picked up from select Orlando locations before departing on a 1-hour bus ride to the Florida Everglades. Once you arrive at the 13-acre (5-hectare) park, board the airboat for an airboat eco-tour, during which you'll travel deep into the 4,200 acres (1,699 hectares) of protected swamps, marshes and rivers that make up the Central Florida Everglades.

Get an in-depth look at the gators, birds, eagles, trees and plants that make up these beautiful wetlands from your certified US Coast Guard-approved captain. Explore a quiet, unspoiled part of Florida, where you won’t see any urban development.

After your exciting airboat ride, watch a live alligator demonstration! During this 20-minute hands-on experience, learn all about the American alligator, including its habits as well as the types of dangers associated with gators. You'll also get to hold or touch the gator!

Then, take some time to explore the amazing wildlife park on your own and visit the wildlife exhibits. Spot a zebra, a white-tailed deer, Watusi cattle, gators, tortoises and more before visiting the tropical bird aviary. Discover the Hawk Swamp boardwalk, which takes you through a pristine Florida cypress swamp ecosystem, and make sure to take a stroll along the 500-foot (124-meter) sightseeing dock for amazing views of the park.

The tour was fast paced and a lot of fun for us and our 4 yr old. We got much closer to alligators than I would have expected. The boat moves quick over swamp waters seemingly like magic. At the end they let us hold an Alligator which was really cool.
