What You Can Expect
This exciting, 1-hour “Night Shine” tour begins at dusk, with a meet and greet with the guide and the rest of the group at the far south end of Gatorland's parking lot. As an after-hours special, this event is restricted to Gatorland's breeding marsh. Just bring a sense of adventure. Flashlights, insect repellent and alligator food will be provided for all guests.
Head deep into the domain of Florida's most famous reptile, the American alligator. With only a flashlight and a few hot dogs, bravely stroll along the winding wooden walkways of Gatorland's alligator breeding marsh. The sounds of the night are evident all around, from the rustling of feathers overhead to the splashing in the water below. The night is very much alive. Turn a flashlight toward the water to see hundreds of hungry, glowing red eyes slowly moving closer. It’s feeding time — and time to experience a Florida few know about on this entertaining and educational tour for kids of all ages.
The night tour of Gatorland was loads of fun. My whole family really enjoyed it.

The night shining tour was great. It is basically a private tour of the park. We got to wrestle with an alligator, hold various reptiles and feed the hungry alligators. We had bought the daytime general admission as well, but I don't recommend it. The nighttime tour was so much more.
The nite tour was tremendous! I would recommend this (and have already) activity to others without any hesitation. George was our guide and did a great job of making my 6 year old boys feel comfortable around the pythons, tarantula, iguana, and alligators. This was definitely a hi lite of our trip to Orlando. I wish I had enough time to go back during the day so we could have enjoyed the property in the daytime. We will definitely do that next year. Thanks again George for being such a great guide.
