Kennedy Space Center Day Trip with Transport from Orlando

Kennedy Space Center Day Trip with Transport from Orlando

Spend a day marveling at the magnificence of space travel at the Kennedy Space Center. Your approximate 11-hour tour begins with early morning pickup from select Orlando locations. Grab a seat on the coach and relax for the 45-minute ride to the space center.

Upon arrival at the KSC Visitor Complex, you're free to tour the stellar visitor complex at your leisure. Board the NASA bus for a quick trip to one of the many mind-blowing exhibits like the Early Space Exploration exhibit featuring stories and artifacts from missions like Gemini, or the Rocket Garden to view the first NASA rockets. Kids (and adults!) will love getting interactive at the Angry Birds Space Encounter and the Children’s Play Dome.

Continue to the Apollo/Saturn V Center, where you’ll relive Neil Armstrong’s moonwalk, touch a moon rock, and get a close-up view of the giant Saturn V rocket — the largest rocket ever made at 363 feet (110 meters) tall! Then take in a complimentary showing or two at the IMAX Theater, currently playing Hubble Telescope and Journey to Space, an extraordinary 3D documentary narrated by Patrick Stewart. And don’t leave without getting a full-sensory space experience at the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit, featuring more than 60 interactive experiences!

Between stops, engage in savvy interactive displays, remember fallen astronauts at the Astronaut Memorial and take needed snack breaks (own expense) in the Rocket Garden or Orbit Cafe.

At the end of your tour, a coach will return you to the departure point in Orlando.

Upgrade Options:

Can't rate this highly enough. Only small gripe is the limited pick up locations, which did mean getting a cab from my resort to the nearest stop. However, the local tour operator were excellent. They even called me the day before at my hotel to confirm the pick up time and location. The tour guide, Bill, was superb. Great knowledge of Kennedy Space Centre and shared some great tips to make the day more enjoyable. Really comfortable double decker coach with air con made the 45 min drive more enjoyable.

Everything went just as we expected. The bus picked us up on time, at the assigned location. Good trip from Orlando to KSC. Our tour guide, Red, did a fine job informing us enroute. He seemed to be everywhere that we went while we toured KSC.

I have looked forward to visiting Kennedy Space Center since sometime in the early 1970's Our visit made the wait worthwhile.

Our only disappointment was that we did not see any alligators while on site.
