DAYTONA 500 EXPERIENCE - "The Official Attraction of NASCAR"

The NASCAR Coke Zero 400 is considered to be one of the longest-running races in NASCAR history. A race has been held at Daytona International Speedway in the first week of July every year since 1972, and has been held under the lights each year since 1996. As the only other Nextel Cup Series race held at Daytona (the other being the Daytona 500), the Coke Zero 400 is one of the races that every driver wants to win.

There are three options to choose from including:

  • Standard Package - Includes round-trip transportation and Mid Level Seating in either Oldfield Box, Lockhart Box, Keech or DePalma Chair
  • Fan Zone Package - Includes round-trip transportation from pick up areas, Mid Level Seats in either Oldfield Box, Loxhart Box, Keech or DePalma Chairs and Spirit FANZONE Admission.
  • 400 Tower Fan Zone Package - Includes round-trip transportation from pick up areas, Inner Tower Level Seating in Leech or DePalma Tower and Spirit FANZONE admission

Daytona International Speedway General Info
Daytona International Speedway is synonymous with the world of auto racing. Although famous for hosting "The Great American Race"- the DAYTONA 500, the enormous 480-acre motor sports complex boasts the most unique racing schedule of events in the world, earning its title "The World Center of Racing."

Motorsport fans can also visit the Daytona 500 Experience (formerly known as DAYTONA USA). The 60,000 ft. interactive motor sports attraction on the grounds of the speedway features hundreds of multi-media attractions including the Pepsi IMAX Theater showing "NASCAR 3D: The IMAX Experience" and the award-winning "DAYTONA 500 Movie" on a four story high screen.

The race itself was fantastic, but the trip there and back was an absolute mess, the bus was about an hour and a half late to pick us up from the hotel. We then drove around in circles in Orlando for 2 hours to pick other people up, the bus then broke down on the freeway and no explanation was given. We all thought we were gonna miss the race, the bus driver got off without a word to the passengers and 'fixed' the bus, half an hour later we were on our way again. We had to leave straight after the race and didn't get back to our hotel till around 3am. This tour was still good value for money but if your a die hard race fan and want to spend more time at the track I don't recommend it.

The race itself was great, but we were the first picked up and the last dropped off, which meant we spent up to 3 hours longer in the bus then everyone else. We also arrived at Daytona to find out that instead of the caps we were supposed to receive as per our itinerary we got cushions. This meant we had to buy caps as we never brought one with us. Caps were more expensive than cushions. We were not seated in the towers facing the pit lane but on the opposite side of the track. It would have worked out better for us to have bought the tickets direct and driven there ourselves.
