Your day starts in Orlando with an all-you-can-eat breakfast. Then it's off to join a team of professional manatee experts for a narrated boat tour on picturesque Crystal River. Mask and snorkel is included and you are encouraged to swim and snorkel in the home of the Florida manatee while under the guidance of certified dive masters.

After the cruise, enjoy a picnic style lunch overlooking this beautiful sanctuary. Crystal River boasts one of the world's largest populations of endangered West Indian Manatee. This large harmless aquatic mammal (sometimes called a "sea cow") is under threat due to loss of habitat, and are regularly injured by the propeller of boats passing over the top of them.

Your afternoon starts with an exhilarating 45 minute airboat adventure on Homosassa River. Keep your eyes open for manatees and dolphins, as well as a whole host of other wildlife that often accompany the group. To end your day, you will visit Homosassa State Wildlife Park, famous throughout Florida for the rehabilitation of injured animals.

It is here you'll have the chance to see the current manatee residents during an informative and entertaining feeding session with a park ranger. You can also see bears, panthers, alligators and even a hippo as you explore the rest of the park.

Manatee season is from October to March, although there are some manatees that live in the Crystal River year round. Contact with manatees is not guaranteed.
