What You Can Expect

Norwegian Evening Cruise on the Fjord

Cruise around the Harbour and see the City Hall from the sea

Make your own way to the pier near Oslo City Hall, and step aboard your handsome wooden sail boat. It’s an evening cruise, so make sure you dress for the chilly evening temperatures. Blankets are available on board if you’re really feeling the cold.

Then, set sail around Oslo Fjord, the glistening body of water that’s flanked by glorious countryside as well as the city sights. Sail past Oslo Opera House and Akershus Fortress, and then meander through the pretty islets that pepper the fjord.

As you cruise, enjoy a tasty snack of shrimps with bread. Then, after three hours on the water, return to the start point where your evening cruise ends.

Great cruise on the fjord. It was very pleasant. Don't expect a guided tour. It is simply a nice, pleasant and relaxing cruise on a nice wooden sailboat. Staff were very friendly. Shrimp snack is included, which is a nice plus. We really enjoyed it.

The evening cruise was really good. It was a bit chilly but the boat had plenty of blankets to snuggle up in. There were loads of prawns to eat with bread and butter, they allow 1/2 kilo per person and once you have your plate you can just keep going back for more. The scenery was beautiful but not a rugged as we had seen further inland. I would recommend this trip and was good value for money

Very relaxing "sunset" cruise. Enjoyed being on the water at this peaceful time of day. A bit expensive I thought. Shrimp was OK served with plain white bread. Drinks on board were expensive. They had canopies to cover seating area in case of rain. Dress warmly. Cruise was windy.

We enjoyed this tour very much. It was fun to share the trip with people who were local, rather than exclusively tourists. The shrimp were fabulous! Seeing the city from the fjord was interesting and the scenery along the fjord away from the city is fabulous! Good value for the money.
