Our guide was professional, friendly and very knowledgable. Her presentation was delightful!
We were on a Princess cruise and walked to meet the harbortour before meeting the guide and bus for the kon tiki and sculpture gardens. Take the tour you will not be disappointed. Knowledgable and fun guide. Got us back to meet the ship in plenty of time. This is the third tour I book with Viator on the Baltic cruise
It would be nice to have a "Viator" sign at Pier 3 and or a sign that would guide you to the 'side' of City Hall where the bus picks you up...other than that - the guide was very informative and the tour worth the price.
Our confirmation said to meet at city hall which was a short walk from where our ship was docked. We had to figure out that we needed to give our confirmation to the booth at the pier and then she gave us tickets and told us where to catch the bus. We had a very nice guide on the bus and she walked with us through the sculpture park. We then went up to the ski lift which was awesome. After that we went to the Viking museum and then they dropped us off to catch a boat back to the pier where we started. It was a very nice introduction to Oslo. Everyone was very informative all along the way.
A very good tour and half the price being charged by the cruise line. The guide was excellent and as it was a mixed coach gave the commentary in 3 languages. Only problem we had was trying to find the coach, it was parked on a street to the side of the City Hall and not as instructed at the front of the building
The tour was just what we wanted and allowed us enough time to see the museums that weren't on the tour such as the Fram, Contiki and Maritime Museum. The tour guide and driver were fantastic and very helpful.
The meeting point was very hard to find and we were a little confused on where to meet the bus. Great tour otherwise!
Very rushed with limited information because the tour guide had to repeat the information in English, German,Norwegian, and Danish. The tour description stated that the tour would include the Kontiki Museum, which it did not and there was no time for the second museum as the tour bus let us out at the museum at 1:35 and the last boat back to the starting point (which picked up at the museum) left at 1:45. We had to take a HOHO boat back because the bus was continuing on a different tour. Very bad planning.
The trip was not as described on your website. It did not include visits to the Kon Tiki and the Fram which were right next to the Viking Ship museum. Instead, we were put on a boat to cross the harbor. Since we were on a 10 day cruise, the boat ride held no interst for us. We would rather have taken the bus back and had the time seeing the Fram and Kon Tiki as promised. It was very disappointing to be right there and then whisked away for a boat ride. You need to get more accurate info from your vendors do people won't be disappointed. Other than that, it was fine.

Once we caught up with the tour, it was very interesting. The problem was that Viator's directions as to where to catch the bus were not explicit and out of date. We were one half hour early at the place they told us to be, but by the time we realized that the bus was not going to pick us up at the designated place, the bus had already left the actual departure place. The people at the booth where we asked questions were very helpful and were able to connect us with the rest of the tour. We did miss out on the first stop of the tour, though.
Horrible experience. Tour people NEVER showed up. Not only for us but other passengers waiting with us at the appointed stop. Directions were followed to the letter and still, nobody came to where we were supposed to be picked up. People were furious. Also, we had to walk to different places, not close by, before we were able to figure out where to wait. Not one person at Oslo knew anything about a Viator tour.
