Amazing view from the Tram car. Pine trees and tropical plants together makes the park special.
It was great and nice and easy to board and get back on the tram. There were rides every 10-20 minutes and it was gorgeous up there!!!
the trip on the tram was2 and 1/2miles going from 2500 feet to 8500 feet and the view of Palm Springs is spectacular. Visiting friends thought it was well worth the cost and time!!!
We thought that the Aerial Tramway was great. The State Park was fabulous. We enjoyed the short hikes that we took. We met a Park Ranger who was very helpful, The formal dining was out of the world. Great service and great food.
The ride was great! It would be helpful if someone could tell older or handicapped visitors about the elevator at the top.
Amazing ! What a view from the tramway.
When we did it it was 110 degre at The down station and 80 upstairs !,
So we were not too crowded
this is a real treasure. We arrived on a day that was 103 degrees F. and by the time we took the tram to the top, it was a cool 53 degrees F. The view is beyond words and the mountain top hikes were just terrific. Who would ever think that a desert location would have such an incredible, yet ironic attraction.
Well worth the Trip from LA an amazing experience hiking 9,000 feet above the desert on Mt. San Jacinto.
Amazing view...the trams run at a very good schedule. I can't wait to go up there again. Getting the tickets ahead of time was the best idea.
Had an AWESOME time on the tramway. I'm afraid of heights so the glass surround and moving floor was a bit challenging for me but the views were absolutely amazing! So glad I did it. Make sure you set aside some time and hike some of the trails and explore nature at it's finest. Incredibly impressed!
Great views and experience for very little price. A must do if you are in Palm Springs.
It was awesome. Went on May 8 and it was snowing. Was not too prepared but loved it.
While in Palm Springs, I went on the aerial tramway which is always a great experience. I also visited the Art Museum and Air Museum, both of which was well worth the visit. Since I like to gamble, I also visited the casinos in the Palm Springs area.
I would recommend this tramway ride to everyone. I should be one of the marvels of the world, everyone needs to see.
This was so much fun!! My family loved everything but this was our favorite. If your in Palm Springs this is a must.
The view is panoramic at 8,500 feet elevation. A little bit chilly up there but just right for the season. Be back on our next visit to Palm Springs.
Our team thoroughly enjoyed the natural surroundings and walk with nature. The views from the various "edge of the mountain cliff" venues, there are 5, were an experience one never will forget. A memory from 10,000ft over the city, desert and horizon which is breathtaking.
I loved that the tram floor rotated making the views more complex. The restuarant on top of the mountains is outstanding for service, food and views.
The aerial tram ride up to lodge at San Jacinto Mountain was a very exciting experience. The Tram travels up over 8,000 feet at a fairly quick speed and you have amazing views of the valley. This the second highest Tram ride in the world. Highly recommended!
