Great way to see the city and culture overview and highlights.
hop on-hop off was amazing, and beautiful experience in Panama City. saw all important touristic spots, including Panama canal which was my main goal. the crew was also helpful and full of interesting and useful information, and i really like the day spent with them. would definitely do that again, and i really recommend Panama sightseeing bus to everyone who wants to discover amazing Panama City. :D
Everything was perfect :
Only one thing -Bio Museum is not worth to spend 22 per person! Sorry Panama :
my experience with the hop-on hop-off tour bus is awesome. Its a great way to see any country/world city. The luxury of been able to get off and get on at any given hour is great.
I would and have recommended to co-workers that are planning to travel out of the USA. I rate it an A.
My next trip out of the country, hopefully, hop-on hop-off is available there.
Tour was amazing and very helpful staff!
Amazing way to explore the city
Excellent, everything was great, time, places, etc., just amazing.
Boat tour Was fabulous Our tour guide was charming he knew everything about the canal and had a wonderful personality. he spoke in English and Spanish it was a very enjoyable tour The bus pick up from the hotel went smooth as well over all the tour of the Panama Canal was the highlight of our vac
This was a great and cheap way to explore a lot of the city without the hassle of figuring out how to get to the different areas.
Staff was very helpful and nice, was honest and gave us ratings on some stops
Very good way to get acquainted with the city. We rode both tour lines beginning with the city line and ending with the canal line. The canal line buses were running behind schedule due to heavy traffic, but the wait wasn't too long. Also some problems with the earphones not working depending on the bus you were on. Otherwise very enjoyable.
A great way to see the sights in Panama City. The staff are helpful. The buses run about 10-15 minutes late but you cannot count on it, so lots of waiting at the stop for the bus to arrive. The city route stops at 4 pm so it you are going to use it to return to the hotels, you need to be on the 3 o'clock Canal route back to Metrocentro. Just takes some advance planning. Traffic in PC is hectic so this is definitely the way to go!
I liked the Geography of the Tour, there could be a few more stops. the usual problem with these tour buses a good portion of the headphone jacks did not work, luckily there weren't many people on board. the buses were clean and on time, this was a miracle considering Panama City traffic. I bought this tour twice. The first one was the 2 day tour, which included the Night Tour. After I bought the ticket I was told there was no night tour. Viator needs to take this tour out of their advertising. The best Tour is the Canal Tour. The City Tour covers all the same stops in the city as the Canal Tour except the MultiPlaza stop. I would suggest taking the Canal Tour first, as the City Tour is much shorter.
We enjoyed it ,it was very informitive, It was good to walk around the old city, then we visited the main city where we had lunch, we then toured the "MIRAFLORA LOCKS"
this was excellent, especially the displays and the lock "SIMULATOR". Then the trip back to the port. A full day Good Value! Michael.
We enjoyed the tour very much and would recommend it to all. Only comment would be that on one leg the narration was not loud enough. Would recommend that you bring your own earphones.
The tour guide was silent during the entire tour to the Panama Canal. We were provided with ear phones but only heard music.
The city tour was much better. The tour guide gave both spanish and english commentaries.
It could have been a great experience and fulfill my expectations, BUT, I totally understand that there can be bus delays because of the traffic but not the bus leaving earlier than the schedule. We were drop off at the canal and the bus staff said we will be here in an hour, 1:55pm. We made our visit at the cana calculating to be at the bus stop 10 minutes prior the scheduled pick up. Some of the other passengers that made the tour with us were also there waiting for the bus. To our surprise, and under the hot weather of Panama, a person that was there said, the bus came earlier and left because nobody was here, now you have to wait one hour for the next bus. Pay to suffer. And we had to pay a taxi to go to the next place we wanted to visit because the bus driver decided to leave earlier!!!!!
the staffs are nice....it's extremely hard to find the spot at the first time. The voucher from Viator lead us to the wrong place: it turn out that day there was no bus in Multiplaza.
Despite various phone calls to the so called "English" speaking operator and after wasting an hour the tour was fine once we found out where it started from, but by then we'd list half the day!
