Just great, much enjoyed countryside, chateaux and commentary information.
This is a very well planned trip where participants see the maximum number of things in a short time. The guides were competant and well informed. Transportation comfortable as were the hotels. Meals all very good. One criticism was that the coach did not have a first aid kit on board when my husband fell and injured himself.
Very pleasant and interesting tour. Well organized and scheduled. Knowledgeable guides. Boarding Rue Des Pyramides should be a little more "friendly".
My wife had a touch of the flu and we were unable to complete the tour. The guide and hotel staff were especially attentive and helpful. The climb to the top of St Michel can be very taxing for unfit persons-lots of steps.
The itinery was great and the balance between being guided and having free time was balanced however there was insuficent time to properly explore the chateaux (especialy the gardens) on the 2nd and 3rd days which were all very lovely. Mont St Michel was well worth a visit. I did not expect to be spending so much time in a coach. The Motel food on the first night was not good, otherwise the accomodation was fine.
Loved the places we visited, but would not book again. Over the 3 days we had 6 bus changes, once was a bus break down which was not your fault. Not a good holiday having to move cases and buses so many times. Would not recommend to others for the $ it cost, went on a Globus tour and it cost less per day withg no bus changes. However that being said the sights were magnificent.
