This tour was full of new information and sights. By the end of the tour we knew a great deal about Claude Monet and Vincent Van Gogh. Our tour guide was terrific. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in art and beautiful scenery.

Our guide didn't just drop us off to learn for ourselves. The whole day was a history of the region and the impressionists.

May was the perfect time to visit Giverny. We knew it, and so did the hundreds of other visitors. Even if I hadn't liked everything else about the tour by Minivan, it would have been worth the cost just to go to the head of the line and avoid the 2-hour wait independent travelers had to suffer. There were no hassles like other people would have had to deal with getting to Giverney by train then bus/taxi, and no parking hassles. The ride through the countryside was very enjoyable. Our driver/guide knew the area well and was very forthcoming with info about where we were, highlights about the area, and historical facts. The scenery was lovely. Lunch was better than I expected, although the wine wasn't very good. Auvers sur Oise was enjoyable too, and there was enough time to get a good look around. It was a very nice tour which I would recommend highly. As a solo traveler it was especially enjoyable to share the day with others. And you gotta love being collected and dropped off at your hotel door.

Excellent narrative by driver. Comfortable and safe-feeling van. Kept on schedule. Given time to go about on our own. Excellent choice for lunch stop. Driver made a photo stop by request. Good value.

I have always loved Monet and was very happy to see his home. It was great, but would have been nicer if the tour guide came into the home with the group to point out various things. Another tour guide from a different company was speaking to her group, so I listened in and learned much more than if I was just observing what was in the house. The tour of the Van Gogh town was an eye-opener and gave me new insight into the artist. Great tour...don't miss it

This was a great day. The driver was professional yet friendly. Glad we took it, yet it seemed the people who paid on the spot were charged much less than me which did not seem right.

The gardens at Giverny were far more extensive and amazing than I had imagined, while the house was slightly less impressive than I had expected. Still, it's terrific to see the things Monet painted in situ and to walk through his kitchen - a rhapsody in blue tile, - and to imagine what it would have been like dining with him in that cheerful yellow dining room.

The exhibition at the museum of American painters down the road was a real treat. Totally unexpected. A great temporary exhibition.

We could have skipped Auvers sur Oise, though it was most touching to see that Van Gogh and his brother Theo have the most humble gravestones in the local cemetery, and yet it's because of them that we all travel to Auvers to pay our respects.

The tour was well organised and we were ushered past the waiting queues at both Giverny and Auvers. We were collected on time from our accommodation - I was surprised that the tour still went ahead when there were only the two of us.
