Cannot find a flaw. The tour guide was personable, knowledgeable, skillfully switched among three languages, the food at lunch was wonderful and of course, both Giverny and Auvers sur L'Oise terrific. The slide show at Auvers was beautifully done and the special exhibit at the museum at Giverny was gorgeous.
This was a FABULOUS day. I would recommend it to anyone, and it is well worth the money to visit both locations in a small (v. large) group. The lunch location was beautiful, and I enjoyed the wine with the meal. The trip well paced, and I felt that there was just enough time to take it all in at each spot. Impressionist art lovers should NOT miss this trip, even if you have only a few days in Paris.
Brilliant and highly personable tour guide - Andre. All most enjoyable, particularly the afternoon Auvers sur Oise part. Lunch was delightful. Pity that Giverny has become a very busy (over crowded, maybe) theme park, but pleased to have seen it..
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED THIS TOUR!!! The tour guide, Celine, was absolutely fabulous! Wish you could clone her!!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Giverny and Auvers sur Oise. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. We were provided just the right amount of information. She was quite patient in handling the many questions of an inquisitive passenger. The tour was kept on a reasonable schedule.
Wonderful guide, amazing sights.... Giverney is like walking through beautiful art, auvers sur oise is moving. Make sure to go out front!
Great day tour to see the countryside in France. Excellent tour guide.
Auvers sur oise and van gogh's life history is all very touching. The information shared by the guide is nice. The lunch is in a very beautiful location by a river with a little water mill. Monet's garden is undescribably beautiful. A must go!!!
Pablo our guide deserves 5 stars! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his subject. I loved every bit of Auvers-sur-Oise, and would have liked to stay on for a while longer for the market. The girl who showed us Van Gogh's bedroom was very boring and deadpan - she obviously didn't care a hoot. However, that's not Viator's fault and Pablo made up for it.
The lunch was utterly fabulous. Our little group of four had our own outdoor table, great service, and lovely food, in that dielightful garden.
Giverney was so overcrowded! The watergarden was worth it anyway, but I couldn't stand the house tour - visitors crammed into the narrow stairs and so stuffy. I had to fight my way out! well - I did go in summer, I suppose. ha ha! My friend braved the crush and said it was worth it.
This was a wonderful day trip Our tour guide spoke to us while driving about Van Gogh and as we got closer to Giverney she switched to Monet. She spoke very good English and was very informative. We had to wait past our designated time for her to arrive. We called to find out when she would arrive and were assured that she was on her way. It became clear that we were the last people to be picked up and that the Paris traffic was bad that morning but if she had called our hotel to give us a rough idea of when she would be picking us up we would have been less anxious.
Again my friend and I were asked to sit apart so that the married couples could sit together. The trip wasn't too long and the guide talked to us most of the time so it wasn't too bad but it would have been nice to for us to talk to each other during the trip since we paid the same as the couples/
Highlight of our week in Paris. Added to my appreciation of the works of Monet and Van Gogh so that subsequent trips to Museums were enhanced. We had lots of time in each place and the guided tour of Auvers was particularly helpful. We would have missed a lot if we had tried to do this ourselves.

We really enjoyed the tour and were so pleased that you had it on May 1, when so many other attractions in and around Paris were closed. A surprise on the tour was how good the lunch was at the Moulin stop.
It was difficult to contact someone to confirm the fact that they would pick us up at our hotel. We were flying in from US 24 hours prior to the trip, and got to our hotel late at night.
The actual trip was fantastic!
