Loved the trip. Giverney was beautiful but walking through the field at Auvers sur Oise to van Gogh's grave was just so moving. The guide was excellent and there was just the right amount of 'guiding' and free time. I took my sister who was ambivalent about going and it was the highlight of her trip.

It was lovely. I would have liked more guiding at Giverny. That was why we signed up. The guide was great and very flexible. A 3rd friend booked the same trip separately and was assigned to another van. They were able to switch our itinerary to meet her at Giverny

We had a wonderful time on a very cold and rainy day. Laura, our guide, was great and accommodating, and a careful driver. She knew her history of Van Gogh and Monet and entertained us with lots of stories. I would recommend the day trip to anyone. Especially since we didn't have to drive in Paris!

This was a marvellous experience. We did the tour in reverse - Auvers sur Oise in the morning, and Giverny after lunch, and it worked really well. The guide, Andre, was knowledgeable, informative and entertaining. Both sites were fantastic, and it was a wonderful day all round.

Giverny was lovely, the atmosphere is amazing. Auvers was pretty emotional, seeing the places Van Gogh painted, his room and his grave as well. The guide was really kind and knowledgeable.

This was truly an enjoyable trip. The group was small and friendly. We had a wonderful Spanish tour guide named Laura. She was funny and very friendly. She seemed very knowledgeable on the artists and never rushed us along.
i thought the gardens a Monet's home was amazing. Then the lunch was very nice at the old mill. We all enjoyed seeing the graves of Vincent and Theo, his small room, and the church he painted, etc. There was a very interesting and well done video on Vincent too.
Great experience. I would definitely recommend it.

We thoruughly enjoyed the day with our excellent guide, Pablo, who was both very entertaining and extremely well versed in all art and history of art matters, which made this trip very worthwhile. Being a small group helped to enjoy our visited sites, stress free.

This was the best of the tours we took in France. Ian, our English guide, was very informative and obviously loved his subject, namely the lives and art of Monet, and Van Gogh in particular. We saw Monet's house and gardens in the morning and were pleased we did not have to join the long queue on that hot summer's day. The gardens were beautiful, especially the water garden. Our small group of six was just right for conversation over an enjoyable lunch at Moulin de Fourges and then a visit to the quiet village of Auvers sur Oise. We saw Van Gogh's grave where he lies next to his brother and the church, fields and Van Gogh's room that were already familiar sights because of his paintings. We must thank Ian also for his advice on trains and timetables for our journey to Villers Bretonneux the next day. If you don't like big groups, this is the tour to take.

While I have been to Paris multiple times, I had never been to Giverny and thought it was time to go. Because of interest in Van Gogh as well as Monet, I found this tour to fit the bill. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, accessible and fun. He was able to answer all of our questions, and even debated a bit about the Van Gogh controversy "murder or suicide?" Lunch was lovely, in a beautiful location, and it was a wonderful opportunity to get out of the city and into the beautiful countryside. Great job.

Had a great tour. Our guide was very good but wish we had a guide while going through Monet's estate itself.

Our tour guide Catherine was fabulous. She had an art background which added knowledge to the trip. On the travel to Giverny and Auvers sur Oise she pointed out other points of interest , and related museums to travel to . Lunch was in a bucolic setting . Our 12 year old daughter enjoyed her first trip to Giverny.
