Although this is pricey, it is a wonderful evening. The pick up was great and the boat is beautiful. The meal was delicious and the sight of Paris at night was so romantic. The singer and band were excellent and the singer walked table to table which added to the lovely experience. We had front of boat seats which gave us 180º views. Mid-boat would be fine. The car was waiting when we disembarked.
Everything worked out perfectly -- we were picked up at our hotel right on time and after the cruise, taken back to our hotel, which was great. The cruise itself was quite lovely -- a nice selection of foods and wines, PARIS by night and what could be better than that -- and attentive friendly waitpersons. We were serenaded by a young lady with a lovely voice -- the sound system was a BIT too loud but that may have been because of where we sat -- on a boat it may be difficult to diffuse SOUND evenly. But it was a lovely experience all told.
Really magical, the traverse from our hotel was exciting and hairy in that the traffic and motorbikes were buzzing around us like flies but Alex our driver was as cool as cucumber. Entrance to the Bateaux was as welcoming as we could have dreamt about and the service level superb. Champagne was immediately pressed upon us and our waiter was charming, informative and attentive throughout. Food was excellent and the views across the Seine atmospheric. As darkness fell the outlook became even better as the illuminated Eiffel tower came into view as we cruised along the river. Nothing was too much trouble and even the rain held off to allow views from the prow. Although busy. our seats were well positioned and the band was muted where we sat which was ok with my wife and I. Both cruise and Paris from the Seine are romantic memories we will treasure. The event was a gift from our children and we would thank them and the Viator organisation for a brilliant evening.
This is the second time we have done this trip, and we chose it again, in spite of the truly pricey cost of sitting at the front of the boat at a table for two, because the experience is enchanting. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the wine freely flowing. And we very much appreciated the ride to and from the dinner. Having an amazing meal while plying the Seine at night is a magical experience.
Our dinner cruise on board the Diamant II was without a doubt the highlight of our two week visit to Paris and Northern France. We had a table for four in the front of the boat, beautifully set and perfectly situated for spectacular views of the most famous buildings in the world. Our waiter was superb, the dinner was delicious, the entertainment wonderful and the photographs we could take home will be keepsakes forever. The memories of that Monday evening will last as long as we do! Merci. C'etait merveillieux.
It was great. I had been on one that gave a little talk about what we were seeing. I might have liked just a little talking about which bridge we were going under or which sights we were passing. Not a lot of talking - just a little. I know there was the little map, but it didn't note the bridges.
Transport from and to the hotel excellent. Service on board was faultless, and the food was rather good, slightly spoiled that the main course could have been hotter, but it was very tasty. Lovely views of Paris, and the sparkle effect show on the Eiffel Tower was a pleasant surprise. I know we both enjoyed the experience very much.
Tried to dress up for the occasion and were surprised that the stipulation of no jeans, no sneakers were not observed by some fellow diners.
Full moon, good food and wine, very romantic. Food inappropriate for American teenagers.
My husband and I took this tour to celebrate my birthday. What a way to celebrate! We paid for the VIP option which included pick up and drop off from hotel, private 2 seat table, right in the front of the boat with nothing obstructing our views of Paris by night as the boat glided along. The singer was great the food was superb including the wine and champagne. We were told what the buildings were that we were passing by and then at the end of the tour just as we were about to dock, the Eiffel Tower smiled down upon us all and sparkled like magic. Don't miss out on this tour.
So much fun and a fabulous way to start our time in Paris. Food was good and our waiter was truly a gem!
After 3 days in Paris, my adult daughter and I took this dinner cruise.
What a way to spend our final evening in Paris! From the time we were picked up at our hotel until we returned, everything was perfect - food, service, and entertainment. I highly recommend this activity.
