Our guide, Aget (sp?) was so well-informed. Inside scoop on bread and pastry preparation. It's also nice to get off the beaten track and into a neighborhood. Definitely do this.
With a small group of 5 (perfect size given how small the workspace is), my 11 year old niece loved this visit and we both enjoyed the baguette and croissant takeaway we were given. The wonderful guide had to translate but the pastry chef and baker were very nice to let us watch (and take photos) as they worked and answered all questions. I am working on a post on my travel blog which will have more details and photos from our experience.

Our bakery tour was short and sweet, about 1 1/2 hours. We saw the inner workings of a small bakery in the 18th arrondissement and it was very interesting. Best of all, they had the best croissants we had eaten the whole 5 days we were in Paris. The baguettes were also excellent and the additional pastries we tried were delicious! We were very happy with our boulangerie experience.
Very cool tour. The samples were amazing. Only issue was the tour company was closed on Sunday and opened late the next day, making it difficult to find out were we needed to be.
I would reccommend this tour to everyone! We had such a great time. The tour guide was outstanding and the baker was very nice as well. We learned a lot and they gave us a baguette and a croissant to take with us!
This tour was amazing! It was a very interesting and informative look behind the scenes at a French boulangerie. The guide was very skilled in translating questions and answers and the tasting and take home products were delicious and very much a highlight. Our children (7 and 8 years) were made to feel very welcome and the timing of the tour (1 hr in the morning) was perfect.

This was a fantastic tour. The guide spoke English very well and was very informative. I did not realize the skill and hard work involved to be a baker.
After shopping in many boulangeries, it was fun to see what happens behind the scenes. Had a great time and the treats at the end were superb.
Our tour guide Emily was very informative and helped translate any questions we had with the baker at the local Boulangerie. We went behind the counter and into the bakery and had a full demonstration of how they make baguettes and croissants. It was only a small group with another 2 people so very good value. We also got to take some baguettes and croissants home. Will definitely recomment.
Overall great experience!!! Tons of food to eat while on the tour and an awesome way to learn about the bread and goodies of France.
Fantastic tour. Was lucky enough to have just four people on this tour. Very informative and really great to be in a small bakery with so much activity all around us. Great staff at bakery and enjoyed the hands on activities and of course the tastings. Walked out with a smile on my face , hands full of free goodies and a full stomach. Absolutely great and would definitely recommend to all. Thanks.

A wonderful experience with a very knowledgable guide and a generous host. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the detail of bread and pastry making in France. We now know that the effort required to make a baguette and a croissant and to get a great outcome means that we will always use the baker rather than attempt such a thing at home.
This tour is WORTH taking! You will be amazed at the time and effort it takes to make a simple baguette and croissant. Knowing how these items are made, makes the price one pays at the Boulangerie for them, extremely reasonable! not to mention, how delicious all the fresh French bakery items are.
We had a fantastic time on the tour. Even locating the bakery was enjoyable to a part of the city we had not visited. Our guide was knowledgeable and the bakers were top notch. We enjoyed being able to observe and participate in the process as well as sample. The length of time was just right as well. Great family activity. I only wish I could replicate the water and flour in the US!
Roberto (the tour guide) was brilliant and fluent in 5 languages to accommodate the international guest list.
Really detailed knowledge of the bakery and process and he would translate any questions to the bakers themselves.
Not just a tour, but hands on as well - you get to score a baguette and roll a croissant :)
I don't normally like organised tour group stuff but this was a fantastic experience.
This was one of my kid's favorite activities in Paris. We learned a great deal, and had fun seeing how our favourite items were baked. And of course, sampling the bread at the end was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this trip.
There is truly an art to baking genuine French bread and pastries this tour opened our eyes and tickled our taste buds. Led by a great guide with a facility in French, English, Japanese and an intense knowledge of baking, we spent a memorable time with the Master Baker and if we told you what we have learned, well we would have to put you out of misery. 10:10
It was great to see the people in the boulangierie in action! We got to see what goes into making breads, croissants and the cream for eclairs. We got to tast a few sample of breads and leave with a croisssant and baguette. It was a treat!
