Great way to see lots of things in Paris if you are a first timer. Open top and sides on small bus. City tour first, then up to the first level of the Eiffel tower for lunch. Unusual lunch served like a picnic. You chose entree, main and dessert and all were delivered at the same time. Lift not available to second level, but free to walk up if so inclined. Then to palace of Versailles. Pretty spectacular place though would have liked longer to explore the gardens, but they are huge and that is really a full day tour on its own. Then our dinner cruise on the Seine. Really nice way to finish off our evening. Finish back at the Eiffel tower so need to find your own way back to your hotel. Not a criticism - but just a heads up. Stay at the Eiffel tower if you have the time, at least until it gets dark as the tower "twinkles" on the hour for five minutes only. Quite spectacular. Tour guide was informative along the way.
Amazingly amazing! Our guides Stephanie and Julien were awesome. Recommend this to every tourist.
Our best tour ever, the food, the small group, the overall experience is magnificent!
Stephanie was our tour guide. She has a degree in history, so she knew the all the interesting details about each place we went. We enjoyed the lunch at the Eiffel Tower. We had plenty of time to go the the 2nd platform to take a look around as well. Julien was our driver and he was equally fantastic. They made several stops along our route so that we could get out and take pictures. I never felt rushed. Finishing with the dinner cruise was awesome. Great food and a nice romantic boat ride along the Seine. This isn't the cheapest tour, but you get every bit of your money's worth in this tour!
it was everything they said it would be and more. the guide was extremely knowledgeable and we were able to do "side trips" at each of the stops. well done!
What a wonderful experience! We enjoyed every moment of the tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and well versed in the history of Paris and Versailles. At each stop, clear instructions were given with meeting times/places. The lunch at the tower was delicious! Do not miss the bean soup! The best I've ever had in my life. The evening dinner cruise was beautiful and professionally handled as well. I cannot say enough good things about this tour. The bus also was extremely comfortable. This tour was the highlight of our visit to Paris!
The tour was fantastic, but our tour guide, Nicola, was out of this world. She provided an informative and entertaining narrative for all of the sites and history of the city. As others have mentioned, lunch as the Eiffel Tower was reasonably good, but not having to stand in line made it that much better.
The afternoon drive to Versailles was once again highlighted by Nicola's entertaining commentary. It would have been nice to spend more time at the palace and its grounds, but we definitely got a sense of the iconic place.
The dinner cruise was quite nice. The default seating is in the middle of the boat. If you want a window table, you can upgrade immediately upon boarding for a small fee. We did, and it was well worth it. Overall, it was a terrific tour that I would recommend to anyone trying to get a feel for Paris in a day.
Excellent day-trip. Would recommend to anyone. Lunch in the Eifel tower was wonderful. Versailles was great, although it was very busy. High season is probably not the best time to go to Paris. Sundown dinner on the Seine was super. Our guide and driver was very good - both very helpful. Good views from the mini-bus. Elna du Plessis.
It was wonderful. The experience was incomparable. The staff was extraordinary and the tour was the BEST! Everything surpassed my expectation.
The tour was fantastic from start to finish! Seeing the sights of Paris via an open air small bus was much better than being enclosed. The roof was retractable, so it could be opened and closed as needed. The morning began with a tour of highlights of the city, followed by lunch at the Eiffel Tower. Being able to go straight through the line to the restaurant was nice. After our lunch with a view, we had some time to look at the views from the Tower at the restaurant level. Then, off to Versailles to see the Palace and Palace gardens.....beautiful! Back to the city for a dinner cruise on the Seine river. Food was great and wine was too! We didn't want to get off of the boat! You end the dinner cruise and tour at the base of the Eiffel Tower, so we had time to go to the top at dusk (on our own, not included in the price) and see it lit up at night. Guide was very nice and the tour was great.....we saw exactly what we wanted to see. It helped that the weather was perfect. The only suggestion would be for the tour operators to have bottled water available for their customers, especially when it's warm out. We had to wait for an opportunity to get water and we were all thirsty. Didn't help that the guide and driver drank their bottled water in front of us. If it hadn't been so warm, we wouldn't have noticed, but they definitely need to have it available or advise customers when/where they can get water/drinks so customers can be prepared as they were. We all enjoyed the tour (two 13 year old girls with their moms).
My husband and I decided to take this tour because it included main attractions we didn't want to miss for sure. Everything ran smoothly and on time. Lunch at Eiffel was wonderful, time spent sightseeing and Versailles was more than appropriate and the dinner cruise was amazing! Highly recommend!
Brilliant tour-timings were perfect, lunch and dinner were much better than expected and our guide made the experience informative and entertaining! Highly recommend this tour.
To be honest, my expectations were quite low, but I was pleasantly surprised throughout the day. Trust me, this tour is worth every penny!! Our tour guide, Nicola from Liverpool, UK, was charming and knowledgeable, with a delightful sense of humor and positive outlook. Even the bus driver was charming! Our lunch at the Eiffel Tower blew my mind -- we were seated next to the window at the very elegant 58 Tour Eiffel, with an amazing view of the Palais de Chaillot, and the food was superb! The Cathédrale Notre-Dame and Versailles were wonderful, and the dinner cruise exceeded my expectations as well. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and I highly recommend this tour to everyone!
