Our guide Ricardo was amazing! He was so engaging and knowledgeable. We appreciated his extra information that made the visit come even more alive.
This was absolutely the best was to do Versailles. Please do NOT do Versailles with a big bus tour. Having only 6 people in our group in a very nice and air-conditioned minivan was awesome. Our tour guide, Nabila, was awesome as well. Looking around at the other groups and guides, we definitely got a more entertaining tour than anyone else!
The lunch at La Flotille on the Grand Canal was good and we had plenty of time to wander around a bit on our own. Given how enormous and busy the palace and grounds are, I was quite happy we were able to relax on the way there and back, rather than having to take the train from Paris and stand in live forever.
One of the best places we visited. Tour guides were so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. A
We enjoyed our day at Versailles. Our tour guide was very good and the lunch at the restaurant was very good, also.
Our guide was top of the line! Tour was much better than we expected! Great job!!
Had a great time. Lucile did a great job of informing and educating us as the tour progressed This was the way to see Versailles, as otherwise we probably would have missed much
Our tour to Versailles was excellent. A previous tour was with a large group and it only covered a portion of the palace and none of the rest of the estate. We were picked up at our hotel at the designated time. There were eight persons in the group which was a great size. Oliver, our driver/guide was very well informed and provided many details about what we were seeing. We visited locations in the palace we had not been able to access previously. The Grand Trianon, Petite Trianon, and Marie Antoinette's Village were fantastic additions to the Palace. The price seemed higher than we planned when we booked it but, the entire experience was wonderful and worth every penny. Treat yourself and enjoy!
it was magical, we enjoyed every minute, and enjoyed the lunch like king and quin
Tour guide very knowledgable and fun.. Thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot
Our guide Isabelle was very informative and made the day very special. As lovers of art and history, we enjoyed this tour very much, including the lovely lunch by the Grand Canal.
We were picked up on time by Olivier and had the most informative, efficient tour of the Palace of Versailles. We did not have to wait long, and Oli always found quiet corners, even in the most crowded rooms, to give us information about the history of the room and the history of France at that time. We especially loved Marie Antoinette's house and farm. The lunch was superb - we were very surprised! We thoroughly recommend this tour. Borgy from Australia.
The tour visited all of the sites, and the tour guide was fabulous. The location for lunch was very appealing. Even on a very hot summer day, there was sufficient time for sight seeing AND recuperation. Highly recommended.
We had an excellent tour guide. This was a great way to see Versailles, the grounds, the summer palaces and the farm.
I knew this place would be amazing, and it did not disappoint. Our guide was knowledgable and lovely. It was a shame that the fountains weren't running that day.
Door to door service. Nice people to spend time with. Time to look around. Beautiful palace to look at, and decent food to eat. Wonderful addition to our trip. Highly recommend!
The car was on time, and it was very easy entering the Palace....the line was long however we went straight through.
I recommend this tour highly. It was entertaining as well as informative. Our guide was well-versed in the subjects and allowed opportunities to ask questions. The lunch at the canal restaurant was very pleasant. I enjoyed seeing the other areas of the estate and gardens which I had not seen previously.
This was a wonderful tour. Our tour guide picked us up at our hotel and along with 4 other people were were off. The information that our tour guide shared was informative and engaging you did not feel like there was going to be a test at the end. Beautiful day, great weather. Would do it again
Highly recommend the 'skip the line' and hassle free option this tour provided us. We had a wonderful day, learned and saw so much, and our tour guide really knew his stuff!
Loved loved this tour. Skipping the very long lines was very much appreciated - especially when an alarm went off as we exited the palace and we were told it was a security issue and they evacuated the entire building. Couldn't imagine being in that long line and then being told to leave. Guide Olivier was wonderful - a history major who really knew his stuff. Lunch was at a restaurant on the property. Steak or salmon and steak is always served rare there and was very fatty. Very nice desert and wine at least. Be aware if you have any walking issues - there is a lot of walking after lunch. Several members of our group were very tired. My only complaint would be that the tour description says we will be driven in a luxury minibus, it was a large van and we were squeezed in with 8 passengers - two sitting up front with the driver. Other than that I would most definitely recommend this tour. Worth every penny not to have to wait in the very long lines.
Really enjoyed this trip and our guide Nabila was great. She told us lots of interesting stories. Lunch was very good. Would recommend this trip.
