Champagne tasting was great! VIP seating and we could get a great overview of Paris from the riverside!
This was a really nice way to finish our vacation. The host was very enthusiastic. We had plenty of champagne to taste. I recommend it!!!
Really interesting info about the champagnes and the sommelier was so charming. The sunlight on the 6PM tour was outstanding! Paris is most beautiful during magic hour.
I thoroughly enjoyed the champagne cruise, it is great value for money. We got 4 tastings of champagne while going down the River Seine seeing the main sights. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and could answer any questions we had about the champagnes or the sites in Paris, he was also very helpful and friendly with suggesting places to go afterwards. I would recommend spending a little more and doing this rather than just the cruise itself. Great start to a nice night!
Very knowledgeable about the wines and very enjoyable cruise. I would do it again.
Delightful. Excellent champagne, limited but well delivered information (appropriate amount - and happy to answer questions). Great sights, even in winter!
The best! Our champagne sommelier was such a great guy and the views of Paris at night from the boat were extraordinary. We loved it!
Enjoyable and good value. Louis was very knowledgeable and welcoming. The 'tasters' were very generous.
Great experience! A nice way to start the evening. Forget the name of the expert but he was knowledgeable and friendly. It was very relaxing, and the champagne selections were nice. Enjoyed it because it was a a good way to relax after a long day if sightseeing. Highly recommend!
Louie was a great guide. Tons of champagne. Only criticism is that the front of the boat was not closed off so other passengers who were not on e tour were in front- sometimes they would come into the cabin and mistook the champagne for compimentary... Excellent way to take a generalized tour down the river!
What a way to start a holiday in Paris. This 1 hour trip is worth every cent. The sommelier, Louie, is funny, knowledgeable and generous. There are 3 champagnes to try (none of the fake bubblies!) and they are lesser know names, but delicious. Our glasses never seemed to be empty.
Louie also gives a commentary on sights to see from the boat. By the way, the boat has regular, non drinking visitors as well, but you get the whole front of the boat to yourself......no distractions!
Highly recommended for the romantically inclined and the keen imbiber.
Louie was a great host and great knowledge if the champagnes we tasted! It was a lot of fun!!
We did this our first night in Paris and it was perfect! Our somm was very entertaining and kept the champagne free flowing. We learned a bit about the sights we passed by as well. A great way to see the city and get a feel for Paris!
LOVED this tour... The weather was perfect and our guide and Sommelier, Pierre, was very knowledgeable - about the champagne and the sights. Highly recommend as a relaxing way to end the day, or a nice transition into the dinner hour.
We had to reschedule our cruise to the 7th of August due to cancellation of the cruise on 4th of Aug. Despite the heavy rain prior to start of the cruise we had a good time on board. Had a good view of Paris from the river Sienne. Highly recommend this cruise ...the champagne tasting adds a difference to the experience rather than the normal cruise we see on the river. There were small crowd at this section and more personalised.
Despite the rain, this trip was memorable. The directions to get to the dock were not as clear as I thought and we almost missed the boat! However, once aboard, the champagne tasting portion of the boat was well prepared and comfortable. The sommelier was knowledgeable and kind. He was generous in his pours and provided a nice variety of champagnes.
The audio was somewhat difficult to hear and was even more difficult given the sommelier's talk about the wine. Perhaps a hand out about the sites would be helpful.
An added bonus for this tour - my fiancee proposed to me halfway through the tour! So, I have to give this tour a four stars because I will never forget the experience!
Amazing tour with the most amazing guide. Bought for my boyfriend as a birthday present and it was absolutely perfect! Definitely recommended.
A great short tour to see the sites of Paris from the river while sipping three refreshing champagnes. Our guide/sommelier was wonderful - very knowledgable, very friendly and took plenty of pics for us! This was a great break between all the walking and sight seeing we did. Also a great way to prepare for an evening in Paris. Highly recommended!
This was the first thing I did with my husband once we landed in Paris. It was so relaxing to be on the boat after flying for nearly 8 hours. We were given plenty of champagne in a private area at the front of the boat. You are able to walk outside to feel the breeze and take pictures. This was a great introduction to Paris as you are able to see all of the major sites along the Seine. We had a better sense of the layout of Paris and knew what we wanted to see the next day. Our "guide" was very knowledgeable about the champagne and would keep us informed about the sites we were seeing as we passed by.
We went on this cruise because it was my brother in law's 40 th birthday, and we had a ball!!!! The tour guide was fabulous and kept the champagne flowing...... Was really knowledgable about Paris and was very happy to take photos!!!! Loved it would recommend it!!!!
I booked this cruise for my boyfriends birthday.. we had just arrived in Paris and the cruise was so relaxing after the flight. we had a private room at the front of the boat- our champagne expert Justin was brilliant, very knowledgable and eager to answer any questions. we tried 3 champagnes (two white and one rose) and got an extra glass easch of the majority favourite as there wasnt many people on the cruise. The boat left at 6pm which meant we saw the sunset in Paris and the Eiffel tower sparkle when we arrived back to dock - it was magical! i highly recommend this trip, it was the perfect beginning to our weekend.
