Our young female tour guide/driver knew her history of the area. Good to know our young people are keeping up with the history of this area as it is so important. There will come a time very soon when people of the generation who were around during the second world war do not exist and its so imperative the young people remember these times, do not forget them and make sure it never happens again.

We had an excellent experience on this tour. Our tour guide Frederick was simply outstanding. Not only did he give us a lot of historical background related to Normandy, but he also enlightened us about much of the cultural background of France. Lunch was very good too at a beautiful place and the tour spots were beautiful and moving.

Our tour guide was very informative and the small group setting, we were five of the seven total, was perfect. The US Military cemetery memorial was awesome and even my three teenagers were impressed! Definitely the highlight of our trip to France!

This trip was definitely worth taking. The tour guide was very informative & courteous. This was the highlight of our Paris trip. The food in Normandy was good too!

The trip was 12.5 hours and 5 of that was on the road to and from Paris, but that was ok because neither my wife nor I had seen the countryside of northern France. It was beautiful. That gave us 7 hours for the historic sites of Normandy and an out of this world French lunch in a beautiful chateau environment. Our driver guide was knowledgeable, polite, and anticipated our every need. My father landed at Omaha Beach on D-Day. He survived until his death in 2001, so it was an emotional experience for me to stand on the beach where he stood 65 years and 10 days before. Each site we visited was rich with history. There were seven of us in our van, plus the driver. The experience exceeded our expectations.

The minivan tour was intimate, and allowed us time to see everything. The battlefields and cemetaries were moving. The lunch was superb!

Excellent value. Tour guide was very informed as well as personable. The lunch was wonderful. Would highly recommend. We traveled in a group of seven and all shared this same opinion.

This is definitely the way to go if you are looking for a trip to Normandy. The small size of the group works really well for this trip, providing you with more one-on-one access to the guide and a better opportunity to get to know those on your tour. I highly recommend this trip!

Amazing how 12 hours can go by so quickly and be so completely satisfying. The meal was a great highlight as well. The American Cemetery anchored our hearts and souls with these brave boys. We felt so grateful they had such a peaceful, beautiful and respectful place to rest. Many thanks for a true and lasting memory.

You get a great feel for the Normandy area. You get the basics in what happened and the restaurant and food were a trip in itself.

Great, meaningful trip. Very knowledgeable, engaging guide provided excellent background and context. Opportunity to visit key sites along the length of the landing beaches. Very good lunch an added bonus. Perhaps could have allowed slightly more time at the memorial museum.

The trip was great. We were picked up at our hotel early. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and very nice. We had free time to explore the sites and try to understand what it was like to be there as a solder during D-Day. The lunch was great. I would highly recommend.

This was the best of the tours we took. Visiting France in February gives you the possibility for a very low guide to participant ratio. In our case, we had the guide all to ourselves. She knows her subject very well and this tour was one of great beauty and emotional power.

No crowds in January and a great guide made this a most enjoyable trip.
