The Seine River Cruise
Mum and Georgia on the river cruise/dinner at the Eiffel Tower. Great night. You learn a lot from the taped commentary onboard about the history of the city and you can purchase the commentary CD if you like. Very educational and fun. Professional photographers take your photo and they sell for 10 Euro.
My first Parisien Crepe.
Mary-Anne enjoying her crepe. La Petaudiere is a small, pretty little resaurant in the heart of Montmartre on the corner that leads to the museum of Salvador Dali. Sorry I don't remember the name of the street!! A nice little place to dine. It is a white building with Blue shutters. I ate escargo here which was very tasty and their crepes are also very good. Our waiter was very attentive (and cute too!) and the pianoman played happy old tunes at the door. The piano music was what lured us in.
Le Galerie Lafayette downtown Paris.

This enormous Christmas tree hangs from the magnicent dome ceiling. The base is about 30 feet in diameter and canopies over the ground floor makeup and beauty stalls. Presents also hang seemingly suspended in air. Very grand and magical.
Great pose Mary-Anne but shame about the shoes!

It's the downside about choosing to walk long distances you know...pity about the running shoes. Oh well...next time I'll pack the evening gown and heels
