My husband and I booked this tasting at the last minute and actually ended up in the off the beaten path tasting. We tasted some delicious wines in a beautiful wine room with a very knowledgable sommelier.

Enjoyable tasting! Sommelier knowledgable and very eager to share info, answer questions and share French wine info. Class more directed for those with limited to average wine knowledge, but still recommend for a nice evening of wine tasting for all types of wine connoisseur.
Fabulous class! Meg is very knowledgeable but not at all intimidating. I left the class excited to visit a cheese shop while in France and much more confident about selecting a wine from a restaurant menu. I highly recommend this class.

This was an amazing experience! The owner of this wine bar, Olivier, was so much fun! He is incredibly knowledgeable and taught our group the inner workings of the many wine regions of France. We tasted several types of wine from various regions. Delicious bread is provided but you can also purchase a cheese, meat or combo platter for 15 Euro that easily feeds 2-3 people. We booked this wine tasting for the day we arrived in Paris since it started at 5pm. It was perfect timing for the dreaded 1st day in Europe where your body hasn't yet adjusted to the new time zone.
Beautiful wine cellar and outstanding selection of wines to sample. Great journey through the different wine regions of France injected with tremendous enthusiasm and humor from our sommelier! Make sure to also get the cheese and meat sampling option. My boyfriend is not a wine drinker and thoroughly enjoyed this evening, we would highly recommend this tasting.
Wonderful class!!! Great information, engaged instructor and good wine!!!
We had an enjoyable time. The wines offered represented key wine making areas of France and we learned a lot.
Excellent experience. We had read about O'Chateu and didn't realize this was the tasting location until after our booking - added bonus! Highly informative and delightful! Thoroughly enjoyed learning and tasting all about the wines of France. Bread and water are provided, but you can add a cheese and/or meat platter for an additional 15 euro when checking in - a good idea. The tasting is in the cellar with 1champagne, 2 whites and 3 reds, so there was a nice variety. Our sommelier was excellent! but we were unfortunately his last class as he is moving to Asia. Highly recommend.
This tour was amazing and it helped me to be able to order wine from a menu without getting confused over the names
This tour was the best. One of my favourite parts of visiting Paris. The man who led our tasting was fantastic, very knowledgeable and entertaining. The atmosphere of the wine cellar was also an added bonus.
Our sommelier, Richard, was enthusiastic and entertaining while imparting a lot of information about the wines of France. A fun activity!
First class. I cannot fault this one bit. We had a knowledgeable, friendly, and witty sommelier. The wines were good, and the information we learnt about French wine was at the perfect level of detail. It was an excellent evening!
Great time and learned many valuable tips for future wine consumption. Nicholas was an excellent instructor!
Amazing! Loved it. The demonstrator was very knowledgeable and great fun. We learned how to taste wine properly, and also learned lots about the different wine regions of France. The bread and meat/cheese platters went well with the wine. A great evening!
This experience was really enjoyable and informative - I have been practising some techniques since the session. The atmosphere was intimate and friendly, and I may have had too much wine. I would recommend the cheese platter for the session.
In one word Fabulous! Highly informative and delightful! We had a ball! We were able to get tickets for this tasting approximately two days prior as a quick substitute. The price was right and more than worth it! Thoroughly enjoyed learning and tasting all about the wines of France. You can purchase for 15 euros extra a platter of cheeses and meats when you arrive at OChateau -(I strongly urge you do so) to accompany the wine presentation. Water and bread is provided, but the cheese and meats are a nice addition. We were led into a cool cellar below the bar outfitted for seating approximately 25 people. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and funny. It was one of our best activities while in Paris. And we will definitely plan to do another!
Such a surprise that this was one of our favorite activities while visiting Paris! Justin, the sommelier, was an excellent host and teacher. We learned so much about wine tasting, production and the industry in general. We have been to many wine tastings in Napa and Sonoma Valley, CA, but have never felt like we learned as much as we did in this one. Excellent from start to finish!!
This was a great experience, and a wonderful way to spend our first night in Paris. The tasting room was perfect, and our wine expert truly was just that. What an enjoyable evening!
