Excellent guide, beautiful weather, and lots of free time for our own wandering on Monet's grounds.
the trip was comfortable, punctual and the guides were very good. It was a very worthwhile experience.
Well organised tour. The garden is just as he painted. Self guided and easy to get around and just the right amount of time.
Lovely trip - things went off without a hitch. I liked that information and guidance was provided but the tour guides mainly left us alone to explore.
Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about Monet and the area. I would highly recommend this tour to other travelers who are interested in Monet. A few days later I went to the Marmottan Museum in Paris which has other Monet paintings. It was an excellent follow up to the Giverny tour.
Always wanted to go, and wasn't disappointed. Spectacular gardens, not too far from Paris, plenty of free time.
It was brilliant, great tour guide, wonderful garden and the bus trip there and back was comfortable
Gorgeous. The gardens were simply beautiful, plucked straight out of Monet's paintings or vice versa. Lovely little cafes around for lunch and/or afternoon tea although not a lot of time for this because gardens so beautiful to spend time in. Very busy the day we went- a gorgeous, warm sunny day, so expected. Great souvenir shop- very busy.
Tour is unforgettable even in the beggining of April. What a surprise to see blooming flowers in this season and the views are like from the painter's works. Recommended to all! Only joy and positive emotions
Loved the gardens and the house, a lot of tourists, not enough time really appreciate it all,
I loved my trip to Giverny with Viator. I hope it had last longer!
Monet's Garden at Giverny are a wonder. Possibly the only negative factor was it was a little rushed. It was more a race to see everything. Such a pity as it is impossible to return.
Exactly as advertised. Coach was comfortable and tour guide was friendly and informative. The garden and Monet's house were superb. A must for every visitor to Paris, especially if you want a break from the city.
Our tour guide was fantastic making it a very enjoyable tour. I visited Giverny and Monet in 2010 with a different tour group but this tour certainly surpassed my previous experience. Good tour guide makes all the difference.
We were fortunate that the garden was in full bloom. Our guide provided a plan for seeing the location and they set us free to explore. This was perfect for us. We went in the morning but it was still fairly crowded. However I understand it gets more so during the afternoon.
Definitely worth the trip if you love Monet's work. Magical to get to walk in the gardens where he worked. Afterward we spent the afternoon in the l'Orangerie enjoying his waterlilies and other Impressionist works.
Spring at Giverny is pure delight for a gardener but everyone will enjoy the beauty of the Monet's garden. The bus trip made the journey there easy and pleasant and the commentary was helpful. It was good value.
Amazing. While crowded very crowded Monet's home and gardens were beautiful and made his paintings so real. If you are a fan of Monet's work take this tour. Had a very good tour guide. One day we were in his gardens and home, two days later we were in Musee D'Orsay viewing paintings of the very places we had been standing. Wonderful.
