Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Giverny and Monet. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
Good tour but the gardens are very crowded. Not the fault of the tour company obviously who provided a clean bus with informative guides. All was forgiven tho when you get that first look at the water lily pond, it's breathtaking.
Tour was excellent...maybe could be a little more information on Monet and his life, what kind of person was he, what were some of his struggles, so you get a better picture of Monet not just what he did and when.
Tour was great though!!!!
This tour was a highlight of our stay in Paris easy pick up point, good back ground information provided during the leisurely drive through the countryside. Gardens are just beautiful, and the tour allows plenty of time to explore the house, gardens and village. I have used Viator Tours in several countries and they are always good value and great service.
Very organised. Friendly guides. English, Spanish and French languages catered for. Ample time to view Monet's home and garden which were magnificent. I used Viator for tours in 2014 while I was here visiting family and I will always use Viator when I visit Paris and recommend them to my family and friends in Australia.
An extraordinary opportunity to visit the gardens and streams that provided such inspiration to Monet.
This was a wonderful trip. Our guide was great. We had enough time to view the gardens and the house. Wish we had more time to walk into town to look around. The gift shop was expensive. For example, the little mirrors cost 3 times what they did at the kiosks in Paris. Maybe we should have been told that ahead of time.
Excellent guide, beautiful weather, and lots of free time for our own wandering on Monet's grounds.
the trip was comfortable, punctual and the guides were very good. It was a very worthwhile experience.
Well organised tour. The garden is just as he painted. Self guided and easy to get around and just the right amount of time.
Lovely trip - things went off without a hitch. I liked that information and guidance was provided but the tour guides mainly left us alone to explore.
Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about Monet and the area. I would highly recommend this tour to other travelers who are interested in Monet. A few days later I went to the Marmottan Museum in Paris which has other Monet paintings. It was an excellent follow up to the Giverny tour.
Always wanted to go, and wasn't disappointed. Spectacular gardens, not too far from Paris, plenty of free time.
It was brilliant, great tour guide, wonderful garden and the bus trip there and back was comfortable
Gorgeous. The gardens were simply beautiful, plucked straight out of Monet's paintings or vice versa. Lovely little cafes around for lunch and/or afternoon tea although not a lot of time for this because gardens so beautiful to spend time in. Very busy the day we went- a gorgeous, warm sunny day, so expected. Great souvenir shop- very busy.
Tour is unforgettable even in the beggining of April. What a surprise to see blooming flowers in this season and the views are like from the painter's works. Recommended to all! Only joy and positive emotions
