Pastoral and peaceful. The leisurely pace was wonderful after a whirlwind few days in Paris. My daughter and I would rank this as the best experience of our trip.

We really enjoyed both Giverny and Versailles. Both places were beautiful. The tour guides were helpful and the bus service was great. Looking forward to trying different tours next time.

Too much about the art galleries and the house, and not enough about the gardens.

We visited Giverny on April 1st - first day of opening. We were concerned there wouldn't be lots of flowers given the cold winter and previous week. However, the gardens were suburb and what was a real blessing was the numbers visiting wasn't too large, thus we could reflect around the house and garden at our own pace. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and was insightful not only regarding Monet, the house and gardens but also the surrounding townships, highlighting architecture and other features of interest. There is no drawback on this amazing tour.

A visit to Monet's garden is a must for lovers of his works. The house is charming and quaint, and the gardens are really beautiful, especially the water garden. It is a short trip in a comfy coach to Giverny, with a stop off at Versailles on the way back to let passengers doing the full tour off. The tour guide gave us all the background and info about Monet on the bus, and therefore we could wander at will over the house and gardens upon arrival. There isn't enough time to see Giverny itself, and you should consider getting there independently if you intend to do more. Give yourself enough time in the shop and at least 10 minutes to get back to the bus. Note that the entrance fee was only a small part of the cost of the tour and what you are paying for is the coach, the info from the tour guide and the fact that you don't have to plan it. As it was the last thing we did before our flight out of Paris, the tour was a lovely way to end our trip.

We appreciated the info about Monet and Giverny on the way out but wished we had had more time to explore the gardens and the area nearby.

Good excursion, probably not enough time at the destination for 'four stars'.

The tour guide and the bus were first rate, and Giverny was lovely, especially because the water lilies were blooming.

We took the four hour tour - and definitely could have used more time. By time time we went through the home and toured the garden at a leisurely pace and went through the gift shop, we didn't have time to go through the rest of the neighborhood and had to rush back to the bus. Gardens are beautiful.

Unfortunately it rained when I did this tour. I enjoyed seeing some of the French countryside. The guide very knowledgeable about Monet and his house and garden are well worth seeing. The gardens are beautiful.
