Absolutely luved this bike tour and was one of our most favourite tours we have done. We had a perfect day, great little train trip, good to buy fresh food for lunch from the markets and enjoy on the banks of the river. The bike ride to Monets Garden was easy even for those that have not riden a bike for some time. You do however need to know how to ride a bike. Our tour guide was wonderful very helpful and friendly and chatted with all the group. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely the best! We had such a fun, peaceful, relaxing and interesting day. Anna our guide was a delightful, American girl who constantly looked after everyone to the best of her ability. The picnic beside the river was special and the bike ride to Monet's Garden was delightful.
Our trip to Giverny and Monet's Garden was one of the highlights of our Paris vacation! Our tour guide, Annya, was excellent and made the trip informative, safe and FUN! We were fortunate to be in Vernon on market day and able to buy our lunch provisions from local vendors before heading to a beautiful overlook on the Seine River for our picnic lunch. Our relatively easy ride to Giverny gave us a glimpse of the beautiful French countryside and lovely villages along the route. Even though we were there at the end of September, Monet's garden was still beautiful with many flowers still in boom. Great trip overall!
The guide and tour were great! We really enjoyed the cycling, picnic and tour. Monet's home/garden was the highlight of my trip. And no waiting in long lines!!Highly recommend.
Definately one of the highlights of my 6 weeks away. A fantastic day from start to finish, the high light being stopping at the market for food and picnic on the river. Told so many people about it on the rest of my trip.
A fantastic day out riding at a leisurely pace to Giverney from Vernon. The picnic on the River Seine by the Old Mill on the broken bridge in Vernon was very relaxing. Monet's house and garden were worth seeing and the bike ride was not too arduous. Highly recommend this tour.
Had a great day pete the guide was excellent could not have asked for more
Anya, our guide, was the star of the show. Helpful, knowledgeable, fun and kind, she was just the best.
The trip is magnificent, and you need to make sure you chose a day when the market is on, as it really does add another element.
he gardens are enchanting, if quite crowded. Just enjoy the scenery and atmosphere. You will love it.
Cycling through the French country side was magical.
Kit, our guide was terrific and very knowledgeable about art and art history. We enjoyed his banter, the picnic, the bike ride, and, of course the gardens. Vernon was the surprise package and worth the trip alone. We were lucky to have perfect weather.
I highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide was amazing and he was a wealth of knowledge. It was a lot of fun and we learned so much!!
Fantastic trip to Giverny . Kit our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgable, entertaining a great guide. Enjoyed the picnic and the garden.
A great day! Our guide,Drew, was knowledgeable and passionate about history and art. Very fun and interesting.
We had a fantastic day dispite the wet weather. It also meant the gardens weren't overcrowded and the garden sparkled in the rain. We could still picnic beside the river eat our baguette and drink some wine. Kit was an book of knowledge and gave us some amazing insights into art and history.
The bike tour to Giverny was one of the highlights of our Europe trip. As a couple in our mid-fifties we were initially worried about whether we would be fit enough to make the distance, but we did and it was a fantastic experience (despite being a very hot day). We enjoyed meeting other travellers and sharing information. Our tour guide was friendly, encouraging and full of interesting and helpful information. It was the perfect way to experience Monet's garden.
