I highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide was amazing and he was a wealth of knowledge. It was a lot of fun and we learned so much!!
Fantastic trip to Giverny . Kit our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgable, entertaining a great guide. Enjoyed the picnic and the garden.
A great day! Our guide,Drew, was knowledgeable and passionate about history and art. Very fun and interesting.
We had a fantastic day dispite the wet weather. It also meant the gardens weren't overcrowded and the garden sparkled in the rain. We could still picnic beside the river eat our baguette and drink some wine. Kit was an book of knowledge and gave us some amazing insights into art and history.
The bike tour to Giverny was one of the highlights of our Europe trip. As a couple in our mid-fifties we were initially worried about whether we would be fit enough to make the distance, but we did and it was a fantastic experience (despite being a very hot day). We enjoyed meeting other travellers and sharing information. Our tour guide was friendly, encouraging and full of interesting and helpful information. It was the perfect way to experience Monet's garden.
This was so much fun! Our guide had a wide knowledge of the area and of Monet and his family. We very much enjoyed hearing the stories and the little extras he added, particularly the church cemetery that we would not have found in our own. We loved it and it will be a very memorable part of our trip!
This was the highlight of our six week vacation in Europe! If you can ride a bike you have to take this tour! The tour guides were friendly and informative. The 5 km ride goes over and along the Seine. And you skip the line to go to the water garden! FABULOUS!!!
Bike tour operators organise a very good day trip.Costi our guide is fun, knowledgeable and very patient. Monet's Garden was everything we expected, beautiful! Thoroughly recommend.
Kit was a great guide. Gave excellent info. on how to fill our picnic basket at the market. So easy for non-French speakers. The ride was incredible-what beautiful country! Monet's house and garden are worth a trip back.
Amazing trip. One of the highlights of our trip to Paris. Kit was a fabulous guide! He made the trip! The gardens were beautiful. Now, when I look at a Monet painting I can imagine where he was sitting in the garden. The bike ride was fun and easy. Kit was extremely well informed about art and spent time during our picnic and on the train enthusiastically educating us. A lovely, peaceful way to spend a day away from the hustle and bustle of Paris
Had a great day. Shame about the train strike and limited time ......the guides were excellent and made up for it. The gardens were wonderful.
This tour is fantastic. Our guide was fun to be with, and was able to talk about all aspects of the towns of Vernon and Giverny, and of course the life and times of Claude Monet. The picnic was very enjoyable, especially selecting foods from the many small specialty shops in Vernon. The picnic site is beautiful, right on the bank of the river with great views. The bikes were in good shape and easy to maneuver, the bike ride was easy and fun.
This was a very fun tour, even in the rain! Pete, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable, nice and caring. He made the tour the success that it was. The bike was roundtrip and fun, but if you are unsure about riding for a period of time, this tour may not be for you. I am not in the greatest shape but could handle this tour. I would definitely consider doing this again.
Highly recommended. See something outside the city that you've never seen before. Beautiful, picturesque sites in every direction. Tour guides are great!
Wonderful Day! Our tour guide, Johnny, was very knowledgeable of the city of Giverny and history of Monet. He gave us an informative talk on the train on the way to Giverny, and was always eager to answer questions. Despite a train strike that delayed us almost an hour, we had plenty of time to shop for our lunch at the local farmer's market, eat lunch along the Seine, and explore Monet's house and garden. We were given great suggestions on where to purchase the ingredients for our lunch and the bikes had baskets to carry the lunch to the picnic spot.
