Everything about this trip was amazing! It was incredible to see the classic sites of Giverny and Versailles first hand. The magnificence of them does not come to life until you are walking through their pathways and hallways. The lunch spot is beyond adorable and feels classically French. Plus the fresh quality and deliciousness of the food and wine doesn't hurt either! Nothing about this trip would have been as good without our wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable guide, Honoray I probably spelled that wrong. He was an endless source of knowledge and humor for us as we went about our day.
Amazing tour, Nicholas our guide was fabulous. I would recomend to all
My favorite tour. Giverny was best garden I have ever seen. Versailles is spectacular. The lunch spot was as picturesque as a postcard. The guide was great. This tour is hard to beat.
What A Great Day. Picked Up At Hotel, Great Driver And Monets Was The Best Ever Place I Have Been Too In The World, Guide Explained Lots Too Us And Walked Us Through Versailles, It Was A Very Very Hot Day Guide Showed Us Where To Get Cool Drinks He Was The Best. Best Day Whilst On My 2nd Trip To Europe.
Was very interesting - just a pity about the crowds but outside the tour control. Lunch stop excellent.
Laura definitely made our trip. She went out of her way to help me at Versailles with a special request. This was very much appreciated. As a former tour guide, I really appreciated all of her knowledge and professional manner.
The combination of the two destinations was perfect as was lunch at an old mill. We had enough time at both Giverny and Versailles.
Cannot say enough good comments on this special tour.
Giverny gardens far surpass Versailles Gardens...but there IS the Castle!!!
This tour was outstanding from the moment we left our hotel with our tour guide Gregory. He was very experienced and professional and explained everything in detail.
The small group was also very good.
From the very prompt pick-up at our abode, and the guides descriptions of places on the way to Giverny we knew we were in safe hands. At Giverny his knowledge about Monet, his extended family and the gardens made our stay memorable. The luncheon place was well chosen and the food and wine were superb. Finally when we reached Versailles and met with crowds ,that was when we felt we were fortunate to be wired-for-sound in the hands of a masterful guide whose knowledge of the place was awesome. All in all a memorable day.I am sure that our fellow travelers three Singaporeans, and three from the U.S would agree with we two Australians That this a memorable day.
We really appreciated this tour. Francis was a great tour guide. Walter guided us through Versailles and he was excellent. The tour was everything we expected. Lunch was great too.
Excellent day from start to finish. Guide was friendly, helpful and full of interesting facts. Lunch was tasty. I would recommend the company to friends.
Pick up at apartment in Paris for our party of 8. Giveryn was crowded but beautiful adore a night's rain in early August. The lunch was small but perfect, if without choice. Versailles was hugely crowded but interesting. Back by 6 pm as promised. The driver/guide habib was excellent. Great for a family day out to reach 2 places and fulfil a dream! Dominic
I thoroughly enjoyed this full day out to Giverny and Versailles. We had a wonderful small group of people and jumped all the queues at each venue, which was priceless during the high Summer season. The time allowed at Giverny was perfect to see both Monet's garden and the fantastic museum too. The lunch provided was delicious before we headed to Versailles. There is never enough time to see Versailles but the tour allowed us to see the gardens and have a extremely informative tour of the Palace.
The tour was excellent. Our guide Kareem was knowledgeable and friendly. Despite the rainy and cool conditions we had a great time. Giverny was the stop my daughter had been wanting to visit for years and it did not disappoint. Versailles, again was crowded, but our guide did a great job of showing us the palace in an excellent manner. Lunch stop was also great. Excellent lunch. All in all a great tour.
The itinerary was great, our guide was knowledgable and even the lunch was memorable!
Our driver picked us up right on time outside our apartment rental. He was very pleasant and the group included our family of four, along with three other people. Giverny was beautiful, but somewhat crowded the morning we were there. The crowds, however, did not detract from our enjoyment of the gardens and home. Absolutely beautiful! We then had lunch at an old mill which is now a restaurant. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere very picturesque and quaint. We then traveled to Versailles, which was definitely crowded, but we were able to see everything we wanted to see. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and communicated with us through headsets throughout our tour. We had a little time after touring the palace to visit the gardens on our own. There wasn't a lot of time left to do this, but we found it to be enough time to walk around and see the highlights. This was one of our favorite excursions the entire week we were in Paris. It was fun to get out of the city for a little while and enjoy the countryside. Overall, we would highly recommend this tour.
Our tour did not go on the June 25 2015, it went on June 26 2015 because of Paris taxi strikes. On June 26 2015 our tour guide picked us up from our Hotel and picked other two families. The tour guide was very nice explained everything, took us to Giverny where we were on our own pace going through the gardens, which were beautiful and the house which was quaint, the gift shop which i bought something and the little museum and gardens that surround it, not forgetting the poppy field in the back, everything was just exquisite. Next stop was at a restaurant, beautiful place and three course lunch with red wine, delicious.
Then we went to Versailles palace, the tour guide explained everything and we also had free time in the gardens to take pictures. At the end of the day we were all dropped off at our Hotel. It was a great and a beautiful day. I would take Viator again.
The entire day was delightful, with the possible exception of the mobs -- which is not your fault! Our guide was gracious, knowledgeable, and articulate. The sleeper event was the luncheon at the country café while traveling from Giverny to Versailles. Simply super.
This was a great day. Our guide was well informed, and helped us get through all the crowds. Giverny was a must see .
Great tour and tour guide. Only drawback was that our guide had to translate in two languages english and French which meant we had less time during the Versailles tour to see everything.
This was the very best tour I did. Our tour guide treated us like gold. He picked us up at the hotel. He gave us information, stayed right with us during the tour, getting tickets for us and good viewing spots, but gave us some free time to buy souvenirs, brought the van around to pick us up, took us to lunch at a WONDERFUL old mill with a gourmet meal. In the end he returned us to our hotel. I did this my first day and it was wonderful to have this pampering my first day while I was learning my way around Paris.
The Tour of Giverny and Versailles was wonderful. Gregory was our tour guide and he was so accommodating. He had a lot of knowledge about Monet and the Royalty of the palace. He was also very funny. For lunch we ate at this quaint little restaurant. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend you guys, But I have to say that I did think it was a little Pricey.
