Giverny was excellent. As we drove to Giverny, the tour guide provided a good history and background on Monet and the gardens. Don't miss Giverny. The lunch in Versailles was good. But the tour guide provided little guidance on how best to tackle the massive gardens. She only told us where to meet her for the tour of the inside. She didn't tell us where to get maps of the garden, or information about the tram or golf carts you could take to go around the garden. The tour inside was very interesting and the tour guide seemed well versed on the subject. However, it was very crowded and she didn't do a good job of making sure her tour was with her. At one point she lost over 10 of us and was clueless for a long time that we had no clue where she was! Sometimes her narrative didn't transmit through the headphones that were provided. Versailles garden was a disappointment. None of the beautiful fountains were on making the garden seem just like a massive formal garden with a lot of dust and not much pizazz.

It's a pity I booked with this tour company for the trip to Giverny and then on to Versailles. I had the most unpleasant meal I have had in all my life. The tour and guide were fine, but I really must comment on the absolutely appalling nature of the lunch. It was a great pity. I've traveled all over the world for fifty years and never had anything so bad!

We were very disappointed with this tour. It was definitely not worth the price or the effort. The Versailles tour was a huge disappointment. It was very disorganized, not only at the palace but also at the restaurant. It was unprofessional. We will not recommend this tour to our friends because of the lack of organization.

The staff were very professional, but the trip started with problems when there was a delay with the bus. I enjoyed Giverny, but the instructions as to where to meet for the bus at the end of the day were not clear which added stress. I had been to Versailles before but did not enjoy the experience this time, Versailles was crowded and our guide kept moving on and we and the majority of the group lost her several times. The audio was not clear and I only made out about half of what was being said - and for part of that I didn't know what room the guide was in. I thought it may have been my audio unit, but I had spoken to others in the group and they had the same experience. Since the guided portion was really the reason why I booked this trip, I was very disappointed.
