I recommend that the tour operator consider making a few changes. First, when people are waiting for the tour bus at the start and at the end, the tour guide should hold up a sign indicating which group should stand in what line. That was very confusing, and everyone kept asking. Next, the write-up stated that the tour included a garden tour, but there was only about 20 minutes to do the garden piece, not nearly enough! Also, it should be suggested that if people need to use the restroom, they should do so before leaving at the beginning, because the restroom line at Versailles was 25 minutes long; I missed the entire garden tour.

Live guide commentary could not be heard clearly over the ear-piece at times. Time at Versailles was too short.

Our guide didn't know English very well, but the headsets connecting us to her was critical to handling the crowds. It was a very hurried tour, more time is needed here.

The coach bus was very nice. Tour guide was well informed, however she lost part of the group and we were denied entrance, even with tickets. Security there was very nasty and it was a mess to straighten out, with everyone yelling in French. The rest of tour was good, but very crowded and it was hard to listen, see everything, and not get separated from group.

The tour guide had to present in two languages, plus the audio quality was poor. It would have been better to have a self-guided tour with a good audio system.

We lost our guide! Granted, this was more our fault, but still it took away from the day. She was very knowledgeable and informative, but it was very hard to hear her on the headsets we were given. You had to be right next to her to understand. The fountain show was also a disappointment, as we thought it would be a show, not as it happened just the fountains being on. We were also not given much time and moved quickly from room to room.

The tour was very limiting, should have been longer. It rained so that didn't help. The fountain show was non existent and the guide went way too fast.

Guide was good and no waiting in queue for tickets, but not enough time to see the whole thing properly. If you have the fountains tour there is not enough time, would probably choose to have a full day tour next time.

The tour was a bit too rushed, and it was often hard to hear even with headphones.

Too much time was wasted by the interpreter when we boarded the coach and also when we arrived at Versailles sorting out headphones, parties in groups etc. We arrived at Versailles at about 3 p.m. We began to walk to the palace at about 3.15 and then had to wait before going in. We were told that we would be leaving at 5 p.m. sharp but this was then changed to 5.15 p.m. because of the time wasted. However, after the tour of the palace which ended at about 4.30 p.m. we went into the gardens but the time allocated was not long enough as there was so much to see. We also felt misled by the description of the fountain show for which we paid extra, which turned out to be a loudspeaker playing classical music and which everyone went into. All in all, this was an expensive trip for a short time at Versailles and would not do it again.

We arrived 45 minutes too early for our scheduled tour so we had to wait in the sun for 30-40 minutes. Tour was mixed with several other tours so it became a moving mass of people instead of just our group. Having said that, we did have a good tour of the Palace and would recommend the trip to others interested in Versailles.

The private mini tour bus for 8, which I ordered and paid for, did not ring true. We had to take a bus with 50 people and instead of a private guide, the guide selected for 20 people did a less than adequate job. The tour was impersonal and did not meet expectations at all.

I was very excited at the possibility of seeing Versailles, but was a bit disappointed. They are doing a major preservation project on both the outside and inside at the Hall of Mirrors. I felt that there was more construction going on than things to see. It also would have been nice to see Marie Antoinette's quarters within the gardens, but we were never offered that option.

Very poor value for money. 70 minutes of inaudible, crowded, stressed tour.

I would not go again with this company. Our English speaking guide was hard to understand and we were hurried through the palace and then had to wait for the bus.
